The next day started as the day before- wake up before Alhaitham, make his coffee, and then get pulled into bed by him and fight him.

"Haitham- it's been over 10 minutes!" You struggled, kicking the sheets as you tried to get out of his grip and his arms only tightened around your waist.

He just snorted, "Your futile attempts really prove just how weak you've gotten."

You gasped and he started to cackle. "I still can so beat your ass!"

"You can't even get out of my arms,"

"What if I'm choosing to stay?"

"Then you won't mind if we stay like this for another 30 minutes?"

"Alhaitham!"

He laughed, finally unwrapping his arms and letting you free as he got up. Really, he would've stayed longer, but Cyno and Albedo would kick his ass if he came late again.

Speaking of,

"Are you and Albedo friends?" You asked, now curious, realizing he hasn't said anything vile in a while.

Alhaitham scoffed, almost laughing at your question. "Absolutely not. I'm not forgetting how much of a bitch he was at the start."

You just giggled, "you're just jealous."

"He was giving you heart eyes." Alhaitham glared.

"That was before he saw Kaeya was here." You reminded him of how Kaeya practically screamed SIMP when he saw his childhood friend.

"Still, plus, I'm hardly jealous of him. He's an absolute twink and one hundred percent I have a bigger dick."

"ALHAITHAM." You yelled, sending him a flare before he laughed and you shut the door, letting him change for work in peace.

"Do I wanna know?" You jumped at Cyno's sudden voice and yelped.

You always forgot he had a key.

"What are you doing here?" You asked, making your way into the kitchen to make your friends coffees.

"Taking Alhaitham to work. Carpool day." Righr. Thursdays were carpool days for some weird reason.

"You want coffee?" You asked but he shook his head.

"Already had some on the way here."

You blinked, thinking of just how long it took to get here; 1 minute. He was literally on the floor below you now.

"Alright..." You just nodded slowly, deciding not to ask how he downed a whole cup of coffee in a minute.

"Morning," Signora yawned, stretching as she walked out, barely being able to keep her eyes opened.

She sat down at the kitchen table beside Cyno, and you had just managed to finish her coffee as you passed it down to her and she gave you a smile as her thanks.

"You going out today?" She asked.

You nodded. "Not with Capitano again, though. I'm gonna go see my dad today."

Both Signora and Cyno grimaced and you nodded with a sigh. It's not like it was bad to see him, it's just been a while since you've seen him.

The worst part was that you didn't even see or talk to him after what happened. Sure it's only been 6 days since the fires, but you should've gone to visit him while he was in the hospital.
