One Punch

It's been a full week since everyone was discharged from the hospital. Pantalone, Xiao and Childe were not fully healed but were good enough to leave. Dottore, you, and Signora were good enough to leave just after 2 days. Pierro was there, but left earlier- the toxicity of the drug didn't affect him as much as it did you and Dottore.

The three murderers admitted guilty and explained everything to Alhaitham and Cyno- which ended up with Heizou having an insanely bloody nose due to a punch caused from Alhaitham.

Albedo confessed that Heizou's therapy alibi was a complete lie, and he's been helping him this whole time. He admitted to stealing Dain's Akasha- only wanting to take it to see how Dainsleif comes up with it all, but Heizou was the one who brought up the idea of using it to take down the Akademiya and try to kill Zhongli, so then during this Heizou could go for Xiao.

Heizou did in fact message Xiao, and his manipulation tactics were enough to anger Xiao and confront Heizou, only for it to end with Xiao in his coma.

Albedo confessed that he purposely tried to make Alhaitham and you go to the bar because he knew you'd invite the others, especially Childe and Pantalone. Apparently they wanted to get to Signora too, but Pantalone would do.

Arlecchino drugged them when they arrived, putting rohypnol in both their drinks. She put enough so that they were both fucked up and Heizou would be able to attack the both of them without the two of them trying to fight back. At the end of her shift, she helped drag Childe far into the forest and left the sleeping pills to make it look like suicide after "trying to kill" Pantalone.

The reason they found Pantalone's blood by Childe is because they collected it in a vial, and used tweezers to put it under Childe's nails so it could dry.

Heizou admitted to being the first one to seek out Arlecchino, and being the real murderer and attacker.

Heizou was given life. Not just for his actions this past month but for what he did to you. Albedo and Arlecchino got 25 years for accessory.

It was really bad when Diluc had to call Jean and explain everything to her.

Which is how you ended up beside Kaeya on the couch of your apartment, as he tried to accept it all.

You had given him an outline of Albedo's interrogation script that Cyno got you. You didn't wanna show him, but he begged.

"wow," he scoffed out, throwing the outline onto the table. "I can't believe it."

"None of us did," You sighed out.

Kaeya leaned back, dragging his hands through his hair. "I...I grew up with him, and to think he did all of this..."

He wiped a tear, not wanting to be vulnerable, but you wouldn't accept that. "Kae, it's just me, y'know? You don't have to hide from me."

He let out a sigh, leaning down to rest his head on your shoulder.

"I know everyone thinks I'm a slut- which I guess they aren't wrong given my...bodies."

You giggled.

"But I really wanted to settle down now. I thought...I really thought he'd be the one."
