Ch.14 Recovery

"I'll call some Sloth Ring Doctors." Lucifer said walking off while grabbing his phone.

Vaggie turned to Razzle and Dazzle, "Make sure Charlie is safe and that she doesn't wander off when she wakes up." The two goat Dragons gave a quick salute before flying off.

"Well what do we do?" Sir Pentious asked.

Vaggie just went silent before looking down, "I...I don't know..."

With Lucifer he speed dialed the Sloth Ring hospital they know what they're doing.

"Pick up please..." He begged and he held the phone to his ear.

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

Every buzz felt like an hour... "Please..."

Then miraculously it got answered!

"Hello this is the St. An's Hospital."

"Great! I need to speak to one of your best doctors!" The King of Hell demanded with hope.

"Transfering your call to Dr. Somna." The receptionist said before yet again more buzzing.

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Buzz....."

"Damn this takes ages!!" Lucifer cursed with impatience.

"Dr. Somna." The candleheaded bephomet greeted.

"Thank fuck! This is Lucifer Morningstar!" 

The doctor was surprised by this, sure he got calls from overlords but never the royal family of hell.

"Oh a pleasure to be talking to you, your highness." The doctor said with a smile.

"It's nice to talk to you too but unfortunately nows not the time for that.", Lucifer said cutting down the cheer.

"Oh dear what's wrong?"

Lucifer took a deep breath... "I thought my daughter died but we found her!"

The doctor listened, "So what's the emergency?"

"She doesn't remember anything! She doesn't remember me, her friends, or even her own name! She thinks she's a sinner!"

The doctor was filled with worry despite his calm demeanor... "When did she get amnesia?"

Lucifer recounted events from the hotel burning to hear Charlie was alive.

"Uh I think she lost her memories after the hotel caught on fire so.... nine months ago..." He said with dread and fear.

"Nine Months ago!?" The doctor spat in disbelief!

"We thought she was dead until yesterday and we found her... we took her to the Hotel to try to get her to remember but she suddenly had some kind of migraine and passed out!"

Dr. Somna quickly analyzed the info given to him by Lucifer and deduced what happened.

"After so long with her memories dormant the sudden jerk of trying to remember put the brain through so much stress!"

Lucifer face went pale..."Is she gonna be okay!?" Luckily there was some good news.

"Don't worry it won't cause any long term or permanent damage... but I'll try to secure a procedure so we can try to awaken her memories but it'll take a while... for now make sure she stays where you can see her and continue to try to get her to remember but this time try something from her childhood. If it doesn't work we'll have to do the procedure it may take years for her to remember everything but it's different with everyone. I'll call you when the procedure and medicine is ready."

"Okay... thank you doctor..."

And like that the call ended. Lucifer put his hand on his face trying to think of what he could do...

Something from her childhood? There was a lot but some she likely didn't remember even before the amnesia...

Except....

Lucifer then uncovered his face in realization.

"Except Lu Lu World!!"

 This was practically one of the biggest moments in her childhood how could this not bring something back!?

The second he made this park a reality he brought Charlie and Lilith and showed them everything! They went on every ride, ate every snack!

They did everything you could do there!!

"I'll take to Lu Lu World! She'll remember and I get to spend time with her! FUCK YOU DEPRESSION!!!"
