A Missing Morningstar

Ch.26 Welcome to Heaven

Emily walked Marie to the Pearly Gates as the portal closed behind them.

"Oh hello!", a voice created them.

"Hi Saint Peter!", Emily greeted, "Open the gates please!".

The gate keeper nodded, "Oh of course!".

The gates then opened revealing the golden city, and all the Winners enjoying their day.

"Woah!!", Marie expressed in pure awe as the two entered.

"Weird she reacted like that. She's been here before.", Peter thought before the gates closed behind them.

The Young Seraphim guided the Amnesiac Princess throughout the golden city watching the various Winners and the luxuries.

"Wow this place is amazing!", Marie said excited.

Emily smiled, "I'm glad you're liking it so far.".

As they walked down the streets of pearl and gold, Marie had a vision..

They were singing and she was with Vaggie and there was a much taller angel with Emily.

It gave a new sense of wonder yet felt nostalgic..

"I got this weird sense of Deja Vu.", Marie said a little weirded out.

Emily smiled more but she took one glance up ahead and that smile vanished in an instant..

It was Adam and Lute!

Emily grabbed Marie and dashed to a different street before they were spotted.

"Ah!", Marie yelped as she was taken to the other street. 

"Why'd you do that?", Marie asked confused.

"There was a shop over here and I wanted to take you to it before it closed..", Emily lied.

The two went into a shop which was actually a Cafe and the two sat down. 

"Uh this is a Cafe Emily.", Marie said.

"Yeah. I was worried it'd close soon."

"Emily it says it's open 24/7.", Marie said pointing to a bright and colorful sign promoting that.

"O-Oh I must've forgotten that... hehe..", she chuckled nervously.

A waiter went up to them, "What would you two like?"

"I'll have a white chocolate frappe.", Marie said

"I'll have a milk chocolate frappe.", Emily smiled.

The waiter gave a quick nod and went to place their orders.

The two would talk to each other.

"What was your life like?"

"I believe I was a popstar before I died."

Emily listened to "Marie's past life", to be honest some of it did make sense or at least understandable to think her way of how her life went but... if this amnesia created false memories then it'll be hard to break those memories...

"After this wanna go to the petting zoo", Emily asked excitedly.

"They have a petting zoo?", Marie responded also excited.

The waiter came back with their orders.

"One milk chocolate frappe and one white chocolate frappe.".

The two bundles of joy both said thanks in unison before taking a sip of their drinks.

"Mmm!", Marie enjoyed her frappe just as much as Emily did.

The two continued chatting.

They mainly talked about some fun things Heaven does.

Soon they finished up, "Time to go to the Zoo!", Emily said with a smile.

"Let's go then." Marie said.

The two got up and left the Cafe after paying of course.

The sun shined bright in Heaven!
