The twins and I rush into action. They head to the other Autobots. Gathering information as they go. I head to my station. I'm one of the last ones to arrive. A few soldiers run in while yawning, but they step into gear, and we all log in. My platoon sergeant tells us what is going on and which grid to take over. All of us get set up in our positions. I'm so focused I don't get to see the Autobots, and soldiers leave.

The word is that there are Decepticons causing havoc in a city across the world. The radio chatter is that Optimus thinks it may be a trap to get the orb. We can't see Megatron, only his underlings, but that doesn't mean the warlord isn't somewhere nearby. Waiting for the right moment to pass. It won't be long until our guys will land. The civilians are being evacuated as we speak. Unfortunately, there has already been loss and injury from what I can see in my sector. I can usually let it all fly over my head. Death is so common in our job. Whether military or civilian. You can't stop it. It will always be there.

This time, it feels different. My soul hurts for the losses. Their families may never find out what happened to them. So many become lost in battle. My only hope is their deaths were quick and painless. Also, that they don't end up like me. A ghost wondering amongst the living. Being able to be seen and heard, but never knowing which day will be your last. I feel like I have all the time in the world, yet I'm stuck in one place.

I shake my head, ridding my mind of the depressing thoughts. Pushing myself to go back to the task at hand. The Autobots should be arriving at any moment. The Decepticons are destroying buildings left and right. Taking out cars and anything they can get their nasty claws on. It's like they are causing mayhem just because. They are ruthless, but this doesn't seem to have a point to it other than to get our attention. It's no wonder Optimus thinks it's a trap. I think the same thing. I scour the cameras for any sign of Megatron. He must be here. This is his motive when he wants attention. Like a toddler wanting his daddy to play with him. Who I also don't see is Barracade and Soundwave. They could be somewhere I can't see. Maybe another soldier has eyes on them. Barracade, at least, never misses a fight.

Then the Autobots show up. I watch Mirage and Jolt land, shaking the ground as their feet hit the pavement. They rush into action. Blasters out, shooting down con after con. Their optics are trained on their targets. Battle hardened looks taking over their facial features. Nothing getting in their way. The cons start heading towards them, outnumbering. The two never slow down. But then on another camera, I see Ironhide come into view. In vehicle mode, he races in. Plowing into cons as he goes. Not stopping. Once he reaches Mirage and Jolt, he transforms, guns a blazing. He starts shooting and they kill the cons together.

"Megatron is spotted." I hear someone yell from the front.

"Where?" shouts my platoon sergeant.

"Northern quadrant. Heading straight towards Optimus." He yells back.

"Contact the team. Let them know." My Staff Sargeant orders.

"Yes, Staff Sargeant." The soldier says and I hear him get on the radio.

I keep my eyes on my screens. The cons are starting to go down in body count. Then they all seem to stop fighting and stare off to somewhere I can't see. As much as I want to see what is going on, I need to keep myself watching my sector. I also wish I could see the twins and make sure they are okay. But I know they can take care of themselves.

"Megatron and Optimus are fighting." Someone calls out.

As he does, I watch the Autobots, and cons start going back at it. Mirage has started hand in hand combat against a con. His blades coming out, the con struggling to block Mirage's hits. The con only growing weaker with each hit. It isn't long until the con isn't moving, but Mirage is taking any, if not all the anger he has on the corpse. I honestly feel a little bad for the con. Then I notice my screen growing dark. I run some light fix, but it's not my screen. A storm is rolling in on the bots. I wouldn't' be surprised if it started to rain soon. Autobots and cons alike don't seem to like rain. This may end the fight sooner than they thought.
