A promise to only commit to one another? Interesting, but not surprising.

These two didn't even have a label, yet they were already talking about marriage.

Syzoth went to bed overjoyed, he thought about Leixia in his dreams.

He thought of her smile, her face, her scent.

It didn't help that they had kissed a few days ago.

"Syzoth? Are you there, Syzoth?"

He heard from outside his tent, it was Leixia.

"I'm here, Leixia. Let me get dressed first."

Syzoth replied, feeling giddy as he put on his usual clothes.

"Good morning, Leixia. It is nice to see you again."

He said, giving her a morning hug.

"Good morning to you too, Syzoth. How did you sleep?"

Leixia asked, returning his hug.

"Hold on, your hair's a mess!"

She chuckled, fixing his hair.

"I'd prefer if you kept your hair a bit shorter, it prevents it from going all messy."

She said, holding Syzoth's hand.

"Besides, you'd look handsome either way."

She teased, just so happy to be with him...

"I love you."

Syzoth said, letting out a sigh as he enjoyed this morning.

"I love you too, Syzoth. In a few years, I see us with a son."

Leixia said, chuckling as she thought of her future family with Syzoth.

"A son? Don't you want a daughter?"

Syzoth asked, joking around with his one true love.

"Well, I don't have a preference. I just see us having a son as our first child."

Leixia replied, shrugging it off.

"Say, what do you think we should name our first son?"

She then asked, giggling at him.

"Hmm... how about 'Lazariel'? Raza in the Zaterran language means generous, and Iyel means handsome."

Syzoth replied, smiling at Leixia.

"I love it."

Leixia responded, cupping his face in her hands.

"You're oddly warm today."

She teased, giving his nose a little boop.

"Warm? I must assure you, I am still cold-blooded."

Syzoth protested playfully, sticking his chest out as if he were a giant.

"Hmm, the cheeks don't lie. You're warming up."

Leixia replied, doing the same thing he did.

"You look stupid."

Syzoth teased, pulling her into a deep, loving embrace.

"But I love you nonetheless, Leixia. I don't know what I'd do if you disappeared—"

He gets cut off by Leixia.

"I won't."

She said, reassuring him.

"Our love is too strong for me to leave you, believe me. If I left, I know you'll look for me every waking moment."

This was true, though. Their love was deep, it was the love shared between first loves.
