wendy stood in the dining room, lost in thoughts regarding taeyong's death. she pictured taeyong, who was simply waiting to have a conversation with his new friend, then pictured his murderer. the hooded figure, looking for doyoung's necklace to strategically make taeyong wear it.

it was a haunting sight for wendy, who could not help but imagine the pain taeyong went through before his death. wendy thought about taeyong and his little brother, mark, and she managed to remember how much taeyong had dreamnt to bringing a closure regarding mark's death to his whole and to himself.

it did not take long for wendy to figure out that taeyong was living for mark. he was carrying an innocent journalist, who was brutally killed while trying to shed light on the cruel world of fetin, deep inside his soul, hidden from his known intentions of becoming a journalist for whatever other reason he told the rest.

now, both men were gone, both deaths were not given any justice. as the hours went by, it did not take long for the media to forget about taeyong and his death inside of the palace. they forgot about a human who's life was taken in such cold blood, a human who aspired to show the darkness of the others.

mark, taeyong and doyoung were not different. they had the same thoughts — wanting a peaceful world. however, the world did not give them anything in return. they were, however, given a terrible death that resulted in a change of events for everyone, especially for wendy. they were not given a chance to show that hate had no place around humans, and that love should take it place.

wendy heard the door slowly opening. yells were heard in the hallway of the palace as yeri made her way into the dining room. she approached wendy, who was sitting on one of the chairs next to the window. immediately after yeri came their parents, who were less than happy with what had taken place a few hours ago.

sooyoung revealed everything about her and doyoung. she talked to people on the street and in the hospital about her life with him and the kind soul he was, a thing that clearly did not make the king and queen of hlorredin proud of their son. with what a low woman he had a relationship.

" this is unacceptable ! " the queen yelled, as she threw a stack of tissues onto the table. yeri flinched, looking down at her skirt, as wendy did not move. she continued to look at the wall, before seeing her father attempting to take a seat. " i should have expected doyoung to do this — he was always looking for whores ! " she continued to yell.

" what was in his head when looking at that woman ? " the king scoffed, as the queen finally took a seat next to her husband. " i had guessed doyoung was not an average prince, wanting to marry a woman of high status, but going this low, for an actress ? an actress who has showed her body to the world multiple times ? " he let out a sigh.

" this is your fault ! " the queen got up, pointing to none other than wendy, who looked up to the woman who she had feared for her whole life. to the woman who yelled at doyoung for holding wendy's hand at the cherry tree and accused them of being in a relationship, she was nothing but an absolute obstacle who was to be blamed. " you seduced my son into loving low women like you, who would die to have a prince. "

" i am telling you ! " the king suddently yelled, looking at wendy. " my friend, eight years ago, saw doyoung and another stupid actress talking to eachother while at his first attending of a casino event in ouverport. he has always liked such women .. " he looked away from wendy, " you clearly have ruined him, since we brought you into the main palace .. "

" you have no right to accuse wendy or doyoung about such things. " yeri got up, watching as both of her parents widened their eyes. " wendy did not force doyoung into loving anyone, and .. what if doyoung liked to date women that were not royals or nobles ? why should we talk bad about the people we rule over ?! " she yelled, as the queen's jaw dropped, hearing her daughter. " all you have done is blaming wendy for everything. did you even think about doyoung while he was seeing miss. park sooyoung ?! "

it was a hard question, that yeri was scared to ask at first. as she saw the response to what sooyoung told everyone about, no one wondered how happy doyoung was while with her. he had been happier with her than he had been his whole life, but everyone chose to ignore it for the sake of shaming him for dating an unacceptable woman.

" do you even know what doyoung felt while being alive ? you never bothered to ask him how he was or talk to him without mentioning what he had not done well that week. " yeri spoke, as her parents were still not accepting her argument. " did you ever think about him ? because all you do when talking about him is shaming him, even though he has passed away ! " she raised her voice, as a tear escaped her eye. " did you take into consideration that he was murdered ? "

suddently, both of their parents looked down. yeri sat back down on her chair, holding her sister's hand. wendy gave yeri a small smile, as the two started to look at the king, who let out a sigh. the queen shaked her head, as wendy chose to look away from the two.

" no, we have never thought about doyoung. " the king said, as yeri let out a scoff. " he was always, at least to me, like a person who had to have a title. i had to give it up to him and accept that he was going to be either better or worse than me. " he tried explaining to his two daughters, who were still not happy with his answer. " i never saw him as my son. "

" that was your biggest mistake. " wendy said, as the whole room got back to the dead silence. " it was one of the signs that led to doyoung closing all of his feelings and avoiding us. you should have showed him that you did love him, if you did. " she continued, looking down. " there is nothing wrong with the fact that he fell in love with sooyoung, what is wrong is how you are reacting, knowing well that she was the only person who was willing to listen to all of his struggles. "

doyoung was a human, too. he was a human who's life was taken away while he was distant from his parents. he did not feel loved by them when he died, and that memory would haunt the two for the rest of their lives.
