You and Weiss are patrolling the city you took back from the Grimm.
"I know protecting the city while it's being fortified is important, but I wish we could do more than just walk around and look for enemies."
Weiss: "Same. I'm getting a little anxious. I know there aren't that many Grimm since the war for Remnant, but those that remain are putting up a fight to exist. Maybe we should go to that part everyone else is setting up. I think Ruby, Yang, and Blake are coming here too."
"Good idea. Maybe a little relaxation will help. Also, I'm interested in the ice cream cake they said will be present."
Weiss nodded, and you finished your patrol before going to the party. True to Weiss' expectation, Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, and Blake Belladonna arrive at the party.
Ruby: "Weiss!"
Weiss: "Ruby! Yang! Blake! It's so nice to see you all!"
Blake: "No kidding. How long has it been since we were last together?"
Yang: "Well, we're all here now, so let's have some fun and catch up."
"Hi, Team RWBY," you said, walking up to them. "My name is Y/N L/N. Weiss told me about you. It's so awesome to get to see you with my own eyes."
Ruby: "Still not used to being that popular. I still feel like we're getting too much credit for saving everything."
Yang: "Yeah, Jaune, Nora, Ren, Uncle Qrow, Winter, and everyone else. They all helped save the world."
Blake: "We took care of Salem, but they helped stop the invasion."
Weiss: "I guess people like it when there are a few that had a bigger role in the war."
"Well, that's their belief," you said. "Maybe just let this thing remain for a bit. Besides, you guys seem way more humble than some in the stories we've heard as kids."
Ruby: "I guess."
Weiss: "How about we go grab some cake?"
Everyone agreed and grabbed their pieces before the cake ran out.
Yang: "That was close."
Blake: "Yeah, we got ours before everyone wanted thirds."
Ruby: "Better than nothing."
"Your friends are pretty awesome," you said, going over to Weiss.
Weiss: "Yeah, they are."
You and Weiss ate your cake before going back to the others.
