What's up guys? Here's the chapter of the week, I really recommend the title's song but there's another song mentioned below, so if you listen to that while reading can set you the ambience of the scene.
Élise has Sunday and Monday to rest and after those days the anniversary will take place in a forest area to camp, she has those days to do the chores, the shopping, cook, housework. She's working out but she isn't focus, she's daydreaming about last night, and the fact that it was Cat the one who wanted to approach her, she feels ready now to send her a message, while she's taking a shower, she's thinking about what to send. She takes the courage, breath in and out and writes: "Hi Cat, good morning, I don't know if you're busy, but I wanted to know if you'd like to go to the cinema. If your busy it's fine too". And she presses send, a second later she feels her blood pressure going down.
Cat is reading a book while drinking tea when she receives a message, she laughs as she thinks Élise writes the message too formal to invite her to the movie theatre. "I'll gladly go, tell me where and the time".
Élise jumps from happiness when she receives the message, they agreed to meet at the cinema at 3 pm, Élise search for a good movie to see together, she finds a comedy-drama, she buys the tickets beforehand. This time she will pay; she feels she receives much from Cat.
Élise takes her time to choose the correct outfit, after trying lots of dresses, she finds the correct one, it's a light blue dress, it's not long but not too short, she fixed her hair in a semi-ponytail, wears flat-shoes, and covers her freckles, as usual.
She arrives on time, she was too nervous so she couldn't do anything else than thinking about the date, or whatever it is. Not long after, Cat arrives wearing pants, boots and a casual jacket and sunglasses, she looks like an actress Élise thought, her hair wasn't a mess. Élise prefers the messy hair.
Cat sees Élise. "Hi. I already bought the tickets". Cat gets closer to whisper something in her ear. "I like your freckles". Élise feels red, so red that it's impossible to hide. Cat just turns around. "Let's buy something to eat". She's not a popcorn fan, she uses that excuse to hide her red face too.
They arrive to their seat, the cinema is not too crowded because it's early, Élise chose the last row of seats, she got those seats since she's always liked to sit there, now she thinks they have too much space for themselves...
The movie starts, Élise is eating popcorn nonstop, Cat can see her without being noticed in the dark, she's amazed how Élise enjoys food. Élise and Cat watch the movie, in moments funny, they laugh; there're some dramatic moments too, but in one moment the characters start having sex; Élise didn't see that coming, she feels tense, Cat seems tense too. After some minutes there is another sex scene, Cat drinks water. Élise drinks from her juice. The movie continues with the drama and the funny moments when, the third sex scene is between two girls. Cat coughs, Élise is fill with dismay for selecting that movie. She covers her face with her hands.
"I think we can go...it's kind of boring". Élise whispers. Cat stands up agreeing that decision, they are going out finally having air to breath, they are walking shoulder to shoulder when Cat puts her sunglasses and her hood on. "I'm getting the car". She goes fast, Élise didn't have time to react when she sees someone from the company; she understands Cat's actions, she turns around and goes out of the place avoiding being seen.
Cat is waiting for her outside the place, Élise notices the car and gets in. "We can go home". Cat. "I mean, I can treat you dinner at home". She corrects. Élise is glad they don't mention the movie. "Take it". Cat hands Élise her phone. "You can play some music". Élise takes the phone happily, she plays some pop in English. Cat remembers listening to her singing a song in English.
