I had some spare time, so I wrote this short chapter, hope you like it.

The meeting is the first thing they have in the morning; today is sunny, Élise is wearing a light-brown dress with a V-neck, she goes to the meeting room with all the team, Jul is trying to make conversation, but Marissa calls her.

"I've checked the worked you've done these past three months". Élise's nervous about what's going to come.

"Yes?"

"I was thinking you lead one event, I want to propose that, what do you say?" Élise continues being nervous, this time for a different reason, she's excited.

"I'll do my best!" Marissa nods while looking at her iPad. "Good then, let's go".

Élise arrives the happiest. One by one enters the room, as always Cat's already there; they greet her, they turn off the lights to show the presentation; Élise is happy and she wants to say the good news to the woman's in the middle of the table, she looks at her, she's stunning today, Cat looks at her and for the first time in the meeting, they smile at each other, it lasts one second but that was enough to make Élise's heart stop. Also, Cat notices this time Élise didn't cover her freckles.

They design the projects for the events that'll happen in two months, Marissa says in front of everyone that Élise, the last member to join the team is going to lead a birthday party, they have the client's diary, so for the first time, she receives it, everybody claps.

The meeting finish, Cat stands up and goes out. She goes to her office; on her way she sees her assistant Hyde.

"Tell Mrs. Ferranhow of design to come to my office".

"Yes".

Everybody is taking their places when Hyde enters to the design office. They all know him well, they greet him.

"Mrs. Ferranhow?" Élise stands up.

"Come with me". Élise's follows him, she knows he's Cat's assistant, it's her first time she calls for her. Hyde knocks.

"Come in". Cat from the other side. Hyde opens the door, Élise walks inside, Cat is standing in front of the kitchen area.

"No interruptions, please". Hyde nods and closes the door.

Élise walks towards her boss. "You call for me Mrs. Andino?" Cat is finishing the coffee and smiles.

"No one is here, relax". She hands the coffee to her. "How are you?"

"I'm fine, I rested yesterday and I'm excited".

"Congratulations Élise, I completely trust Marissa, I'm glad she sees potential in you".

"Thank you". She smiles. "Come". Cat says walking to her bookcase.

"These two rows of books might help you; you can take whatever you need, I'm going to tell Hyde to let you come whenever you want". Élise shows surprise.

"Thank you". She smiles and reads the titles; Cat looks down to see her, she sees her eyes shining. Inevitable, she also notices Élise's freckles on her chest, the neckline of her dress let her see more than usual. Cat turns her head to hide her face.

"I'd like to see that". Élise points to a book that's on the high part. Cat as she's taller she takes it without problem.

"Here". She hands her the book, Élise takes two more. "I think this is enough, for the moment".

"Do you need help to carry them? I can say..."

Élise laughs "I'm fine, really, they're not so heavy". "I need to go...thank you for everything".
