Dear Moon,
You glow. You're the moon in the black sky that has become my entire world, creating shooting comets just for me to wish on every night I'm feeling like a star. A giant ball of gases blended together and contained by the force of gravity, holding it together, holding me together. When I was a cloud of dust and gases, you were there, shedding your dim light on my heartache. It was then I collapsed, and I couldn't find you; it was dark again. I felt alone. Suddenly, I was alive again as my core burned and shined, and I looked for you. You were always there; you hid in the shadows, waiting for me to give birth to my own radiance. Under the cover of the night, we can dance for eternity, bathed in each other's light as you spin around and around. Now I can't help but fall, so make a wish.
Love,
Your Star
