Jake and his friends decided to fly out to Japan with Niki to spend the holiday with him and his family. Niki has been stuck in Korea for the holidays many times and has only been able to return home twice in the past two years. Neither of those times were for holidays sadly.

Though Jake and his friends all pitched in the plan and the money to buy Niki a ticket to Japan for New Years but Niki found out about the plan so it wasn't a surprise. He was more than grateful but he also insisted they joined him if they wanted to of course. Niki even called up his parents so they could convince them too. Which they couldn't say no to Niki's family so they bought their own tickets as well, Niki's parents even helped pay for them even after they tried to refuse.

So now here they are, Niki's parents said they prepared a gift for all of them for thinking and taking care of their son so well. As much as they wanted to refuse the gifts so they didn't have to spend money, it was already spent so they might as well try to put whatever it is to good use. They all gathered in the living room. Niki and his parents sat on one big couch, his sisters sat on a love seat, and the rest of the boys sat on a big couch together with their presents in their laps.

"Okay, you can open them!" Niki's mother announced once everyone but those boys had their phones recording. They had certain people recording certain people so they could get their reaction and send it to their parents.

The boxes were tussled around until eventually they opened them fully. They all had different coloured kimonos. The shock on all their faces allowed Mrs. Nishimura to know that they all know what their present is.

"They are Kimonos. With the new year soon we usually go out and fireworks are set off when midnight hits. It is a little tradition our family has, most people still do it but some people have went with the more modern times and stopped. Since we do it we thought it was only the right thing for us to do by getting you all some so you don't stick out like a sore thumb." She explained for the boys who awed at their kimonos. After their reactions were done they all stopped recording.

"Thank you Nishimuras." Jungwon bowed as everyone else followed suit.

"Yes, you didn't need to at all." Heeseung agreed as he bowed.

"Oh don't worry. We wanted to." Mr. Nishimura waved a hand so they couldn't say anything about it anymore.

They eventually did sit around for their first dinner at the Nishimuras which was very nice. Traditional and authentic Japanese food is always amazing. Plus the Nishimuras are so welcoming that it felt like they were home.

"So I know Jay and Jungwon are dating as well as Sunoo and Niki but what about you Jake? Or you Heeseung?" Konon was obviously trying to get some tea in their love life's so Niki hit her shoulder but Jake and Heeseung didn't mind.

"Well I'm almost out of college so I'm focusing on my studies and getting a good job for now. If a pretty girl comes around then I might have to go off course." Heeseung caused some laughter at the table but once it was done everyone looked to Jake.

"I don't really know. I've never been one to think of love too much so if it happens to come around then I'll accept it." Jake smiled as everyone awed at his adorable response.

The rest of dinner was amazing and delightful. They all chatted away as they caught back up with Niki's parents. They met them a while ago when they all were still in highschool but seeing them after they've grown so much is definitely different.

Before any of them knew it, they were getting ready to go out to see the fireworks. After they all got ready all that was left was to wait for the Nishimuras minus Niki. They got ready a bit early so waiting was expected. So Niki took the time to fill them in on rumors and folktale.
