Thirteen, Eraserhead and I all stood at the top of the stairs staring down at the villains below. Class 1-A standing behind us with most of them terrified. I heard Kurogiri say, “The only real heroes I see are Thirteen, Eraserhead and Arya. Perplexing. According to the schedule we received from UA, All Might should be here as well.”
Shit. I checked! I didn’t find anyone! Eraser spoke back, “So, you scumbags used the press as a cover and sneaked onto campus.”
Shigaraki’s chilling voice filled my ears, “Where is he? I went through the trouble of bringing so many friends who’re eager to meet him. They want All Might. The great Symbol of Peace. I can’t believe he’s not here. Maybe if I kill a few kids, he’ll come out to play.”
Something in me snapped at his last words, “Like I’d let you touch them!”
Shigaraki turned his hand filled face up towards me and I could see his piercing red eyes behind the hand on his face. "All Might may not be here, but… you'll do just fine, Arya. Since I’ve been itching to kill you, too."
I felt Aizawa side-eye me as I kept my gaze at the dozens of villains below us. I heard the students behind me speak so I listened in, “What? Real villains? No way. How could so many of ‘em get into a UA facility this secure?” The school should’ve been notified. I glanced up for a second at the lights that were once on. They must have someone who’s messing with it.
“Yeah, Thirteen. Why aren’t the alarms going off?”
“Good questions. I’m not sure.”
I heard Todoroki propose a chilling question, “Is the entire campus under attack? Or is this their only target?” I can almost guarantee that this is their only target. “Either way, if the alarm sensors aren’t being triggered, then one of these villains must have a quirk that’s masking their presence here. They carefully chose this isolated facility as an entry point at a time when a class was being taught. They’re fools for trespassing here, but they’ve thought this out. Whatever their plan is, they have a concrete objective in mind. But what is it?” To kill All Might.
My family’s secrets had now put an entire group of new heroes at risk. There was no way in hell I was going to let those villains even close enough to touch one of them. My fists clenched as I felt the anger bubble up inside of me. I noticed Aizawa started to walk up to the edge of the stairs, “Thirteen, get them outta here. And alert the main campus. Actually, if they’ve got the ability to block our sensors, then they might be jamming our regular communications, too. Kaminari, try using your quirk to contact the school.”
I could feel the different quirks inside my body starting to pulsate as they anticipated the fight ahead. Just as I was about to go down there and wipe them all out, I heard Izuku yell, “What’re you gonna do? You can’t fight them on your own! There’s too many of ‘em. Even if you can nullify their quirks, your fighting style’s not suited for this. Your power works best in stealth and one-on-one fights. That’s not gonna help with a group.” What the hell?! Did all of them already forget that I’m here?
I smirked as I heard Aizawa respond though, “You can’t be a pro if you only have one trick.”
I turned around to face everyone with a smile on my face, “What am I, Izuku? Chopped liver?” I looked over at Iida. “Iida, you should go on ahead to the main campus and alert Principal Nezu of what’s happening. It'll be the quickest way to get the rest of the teachers here.” I turned back around to face the villains, “While I handle the trash.” I side-eyed Eraserhead next to me, “You’ll cover me right?”
