Rio's MansionKiyanna's bedroom door knocked and she slowly woke up. She stood up and stretched before walking over to the door and opening the lock.
She stepped back while opening the door and Rio was standing there with the maid behind him, who appeared to be holding onto a trolley of lunch.
Kiyanna smiled and walked to sit down around the table that's in the room. After placing all the food down on the table the maid left and Rio sat next to Kiyanna.
"Sorry about last night, i'm scared of drunk people" she shrugged and began to eat.
"It's all good ma..." he starts to eat as well and Kiyanna turned to look at him.
"Why you so nice to me? As if you've known me forever or something" Kiyanna asked before sipping her orange juice.
"There's something I haven't told you about me... there's a lot I haven't told you but this specifically" he started and Kiyanna furrowed her eyebrows.
"I used to live in your area and... almost everyday I could hear you screaming." Rio said before looking over at her, seeing her look shocked.
"I- I-" Kiyanna placed down the glass and put her hand over her mouth, not wanting to cry.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier I just didn't want you to think about it. I liked you when I was younger but I never had the courage to talk to you. Then when all that was happening I was just- nevermind" he slowly shook his head before he said too much.
Kiyanna took the hint he didn't want to talk anymore so she didn't question him further. "After my mom died he was so horrible to me..." she sniffles.
"Did you ever see anyone leaving when my dad died? Like I don't know I asked TJ the same question and he said no" She looked up at Rio who clenched his jaw a little before shaking his head.
"Im glad he died. He was hitting you" Rio shrugged and Kiyanna's jaw dropped before she slightly chuckled.
"You're so cold" she shook her head before face palming.
