9:00am
Rio's MansionIt had now been over a week since vacay and Kiyanna and Rio woke up, side by side in bed. Rio had woken up first and Kiyanna only woke up because he had rolled over to grab his phone.
Kiyanna slowly sat up, feeling her stomach slightly hurt but she didn't know why. She stood up and looked down at the bed, gasping as the red patch.
"What?" Rio looked up at her and she walked around the bed, grabbing his arm to pull him up.
He stood up, confusedly and furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm so sorry Rio I need to change the sheets. I don't know if the stains gonna come out im so sorry" Kiyanna instantly began to panic
It brought her back to the time she got her first period, very late at 15, and her dad got mad that she had stained a pillow on the couch.
He told her how gross it was and how women don't do such things, before hitting her. She didn't want Rio to think she was gross so she didn't want him to look.
"Baby... calm down" Rio chuckled and turned around, looking at the bed. He took the cover off and then began to strip the sheets down.
Kiyanna calmed herself down, watching Rio take apart all the sheets before putting them into the laundry chute.
"Give me your clothes too and get in the shower imma go get you some things" Rio turned to face Kiyanna who obeyed.
She took off all her clothes and then walked to the bathroom so she could shower.
She couldn't even speak at this point because she thought he would be angry and now she didn't know how to respond to him being nurturing.
Rio threw on some sweats and a wife beater, before slipping on some shoes and leaving the house.
He hopped inside his Lamborghini Urus and started the engine, making his way down his driveway.
After exiting the gates, he began to drive directly to the nearest Target. They hadn't done any grocery shopping yet so he knew there was no snacks for Kiyanna in the house.
He also wanted to get her a hot water bottle and some pain medicine so she could just relax.
He reached Target and hopped out the car, locking the doors before walking inside. It was pretty early so the store was empty for the most part.
Meanwhile, Kiyanna was in the shower. She noticed she had begun to breathe quite heavily. She had experienced panic attacks before and she normally knew why, but this time she didn't know why.
It felt like something was pressing on her chest. She placed her hand on her chest and stopped the shower, getting out and putting her towel around herself.
She walked into her bedroom, sitting on the end of the bed and trying to neutralise her breathing.
She closed her eyes, thinking of her mom. "I'll always be with you, even if you can't see me" her mothers words replayed in her head and she let a few tears roll down her face.
Rio had finally finished picking everything up and was walking to his car when he felt a strange feeling in his stomach.
He quickly rushed to the car and threw everything in the back, getting in the front and speeding back home.
Kiyanna felt like she was gonna pass out, she thought she was probably panicking because of the period thing.
She had worried herself for absolutely no reason but now she didn't know how to stop.
