"W-what?" Harry stuttered. "You didn't want me?" he asked Severus, who quickly shook his head.

"Of course I wanted you, Alex," Severus exclaimed, "It was James who didn't want you. You see, James and I dated, but we were never in love. It started in our final year when Lily and I had a fight. She was dating James at the time, so of course, she ran and told him everything. About a week later, James came up to me and said he wanted to hang out. I refused, but he used the fact that our getting along would get me back on Lily's good side. So, I agreed," He finished.

"I'm guessing it didn't work?" Harry asked, and Lucius snorted, and Severus glared at him.

"No, it didn't," The older ravenette said, "We started having lunch together and hanging out. After a few months, I realized he wasn't hanging out with Lily as much anymore and asked why. He told me they had broken up, but that was a lie. He said he was interested in someone else, in me. He asked me to date him, and I don't know why, but something in me couldn't disagree with him. We dated, and we graduated from Hogwarts later that year. I moved to an apartment in wizarding London, and he went to the Potter estate. He would visit and court me, and we went on dates and such. When we finally, um, when we finally slept together. It was odd; there was no connection, no feelings, and quite frankly, painful. He left right after, claiming he had something important to do. I didn't see him for almost a month before I saw Remus and Sirius. We had started getting along after James, and I started hanging out, but they didn't know we were dating. I asked them about him, and they told me he was on his honeymoon with Lily. I was so shocked I started crying. They took me home, and I told them everything. They were beyond pissed at their friend, but couldn't do anything. By that time, though, I had already found out I was pregnant, and I told them. I moved and confronted James, the bastard had just laughed in my face and said it was revenge for hurting his mate, Lily. I was shocked. How could he sleep with someone who wasn't his mate, and he was so casual about it? After that, I never spoke to him again. Eight months later, I was in the hospital, ready to give birth, Tom, Lucius, Sirius, and Remus by my side. I gave birth, but the doctors came back, and they...they told us you died," Severus sobbed, and Lucius rubbed his back.

"I held your lifeless body in my arms. I stood there as you were cremated and I had your ashes made into this," He said, pulling a necklace with a heart gem on it. Inside the heart were the ashes, and on the heart were the letters H.A.S.

"But how did I end up with the Potters?" Harry asked, and Severus wiped his eyes before speaking.

"A year later, Remus and Sirius brought me to the manor, they brought me to a room, and showed me a baby. I thought it was Lily's and James's, but Remus said it smelled like me. And he was right: as soon as I stepped into the room and looked at you, I knew you were mine. I was about to touch you when we were hit with a spell. I passed out and woke up in the hospital. I couldn't remember anything. It was like the memories of James and me were gone, and you were never born," Severus said. "I went on with my life. Tom and Lucius tried to remind me, but I didn't believe it. A month later, on Halloween, Tom attacked. And I think you know what happened from there. A week ago, when you went through the inheritance, I felt it. And it's like the spell just broke, I kept remembering bits and pieces. I went to Gringotts the next day and found a memory block had been placed on me, along with a few behavioral ones, too. I got them removed, and it all came glowing back. I looked for you in the castle, but I couldn't find you," He finished, and Harry sat there taking it all in.

"If my father always bullied you, what made you think it was a good idea to go out with him in the first place?" Harry asked, and Severus blushed.

"He used Amortentia; there are strong versions and light versions. He gave me light doses so it wouldn't be obvious and undetectable," The ravenette said, and Harry scolded. He never liked the stories he heard about his father before, but now he downright hated the man.

He stood from his seat and went over to Severus, he sat on his lap and wrapped his hands around the man who quickly wrapped his arms around him as well.
