Harry walked the halls of Hogwarts, Draco by his side as he made his way from Severus's room in the basement to the great hall.

He entered the hall behind Draco and made his way to the teacher's desk, where all the teachers were already seated. As he walked, he felt every eye in the room on him.

"Headmaster Dumbledore," He greeted the man who glared at him before changing to his regular grandfatherly look.

"Harry," The man said, standing and moving around the tables to stand before the raven. "You have been gone for a week, do you know how worried your friends were?" He asked and Harry mentally rolled his eyes.

"I am sure they were, Headmaster," He replied, smirking at the man before turning and heading to Draco who sat at the end of the Slytherin tables right next to the exit.

He sat next to the blonde and started filling his plate. He looked up when he noticed the hall was silent. Seeing everyone staring at him, he scoffed and started filling Draco's still-empty plate.

"I'm not hungry," Draco frowned as he saw what Harry was doing.

"You didn't eat dinner last night," Harry said, turning back to his own food, "Either you eat willingly or I make you," he said when Draco pouted.

"Harry, my boy," A voice said behind him, sighing as he turned around to see Dumbledore standing there.

"Yes, Headmaster?" He answered.

"You are sitting at the wrong table," The old man said, "You should be with your friends at the Gryffindor table," He said and Harry frowned.

"I'm just promoting house unity, Headmaster," He said, turning back to his food.

"Harry I must insist that you return to your table," Albus said but was ignored.

"Is there a problem here?" a silky, deep voice said from behind them, and Harry glanced back to see Snape standing there.

"Harry seems to be sitting at the wrong table," Dumbledore said and Severus raised a brow.

"Are you saying your precious Gryffindor is too good to sit with my snakes?" He asked and Dumbledore frowned.

"Of course not, I—" he started but was cut off by Snape. "Then I see no problem with it," he said, staring at the man until he walked off.

Severus cast a quick glance at Draco and Harry before turning and walking back to his seat at the teacher's table.

Harry watched the man and sighed. "He's avoiding me," he said to Draco, who frowned and looked between the two.

"Uncle Sev does that a lot," He said, placing a hand on Harry's shoulder, "He avoids things when he doesn't know how to handle them, Just like he does with Uncle Tom." He said and Harry sighed, hoping he didn't go back to his old ways once classes started.

The day went by smoothly, Potions class was odd. Severus barely looked at him and Draco kept shooting him and said smiles.

At the end of the day, he went to the Chamber of Secrets. He told Herpo all about what happened, and the snake hissed with pleasure, knowing Harry had found his family.

#I want to meet them # the snake hissed and Harry smiled, telling her it would happen soon.
