Harry was having a crisis; he didn't know what to think of the story Severus had told him. They had separated after they had an awkward lunch together. Tom and Lucius went with Severus, though Lucius kept looking back as if he wanted to go with Harry instead.
Harry was sitting in his room at the window when a knock came at the door.
"Come," he called, and the door opened, and a blonde head leaked in.
"H-hey," Draco said entering the room.
"Draco?" Harry said, turning fully to face the younger boy. "What are you doing here?" He asked, as Draco came forward and sat on the bed.
"I wanted to say hello," Draco said. "Uncle Severus told me he had found you, and I couldn't wait to meet you." He said this grinning, and Harry frowned.
"Sev-Da- he told you about me?" He asked, not sure what to call Snape.
"Yeah, we have tea together every day after dinner, so he's been telling me all he can remember about you," Draco said, "I have to say, Potter, you're full of surprises," He finished and Harry blinked at him.
"And you're OK with me being here?" Harry asked. "You're not mad or going to throw a fit?" he asked, and Draco shook his head.
"No," he said, standing and heading back to the door. "Anyway, I just came to say hi. I'll be on my way now," he said, exiting the room.
Harry sat there for a little while longer before there was another knock at the door. "Come," he called once more.
The door opened, and another blonde head stuck in. "I bought you dinner," Lucius said, and Harry raised a brow as the taller man entered and placed a tray with mashed potatoes and beans along with a class of pumpkin juices on the bedside table.
"Lucius," Harry called as the man headed toward the door. The man paused and looked back at him with a wary expression. "Why do you keep avoiding me?" Harry asked as he stood and stalked towards the Veela, he caused Lucius to back up until his back hit the wall.
"I've just been prolonging the inevitable," Lucius sighed, and Harry frowned.
"What is inevitable?" Harry asked, confused.
"Look, Harry," Lucius said, his shoulder slumping. "I know you will reject me; I treated you terribly and made your life hell whenever we crossed paths; I insulted you and probably embarrassed you, too. I just wanted to feel the bliss of finding my mate for a couple of days," the blonde finished, and Harry looked at him, shocked.
"Lucius Malfoy, that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard," Harry exclaimed and Lucius looked at him with wide eyes. "We are mates, I have read enough to know that if I reject you, you'll die. And despite what we had in the past, that does not affect my decision to be your mate. What we had in the past, forget it. This is new, this is a new chapter, where we are mates. So, I will be your mate, as long you will man up and stop running from me. Start acting like a Slytherin," Harry finished and Lucius blinked at him.
"I-I, OK," Lucius muttered and Harry grinned.
"Good," Harry nodded as he pulled away, went to the bedside table, and pulled the tray in his lap. He ate in silence, side-eyeing Lucius, who was fluttering around the room nervously.
"Lucius, sit down," Harry said softly, and Lucius looked over at him before slowly moving over to the chair by the fire and sitting down.
Harry set down the plate after he finished eating and picked up his pumpkin juice. Looking over at the man, Harry raised a brow at him already looking at him.
"Tom wanted to meet after you finished eating, just briefly," Lucius said suddenly, and Harry nodded, standing from the bed and heading towards the door with pumpkin juice still in hand.
He went down to the office, where he found Tom and Severus. Severus was leaning on the desk, and Tom had him trapped between himself and the desk.
"Alex," Severus exclaimed, pushing Tom off his and looking away blushing as red as a tomato.
"Harry," Tom said coolly, looking at Severus and sighing before heading to the couch. I wanted to know what your plan is," he said, and Harry frowned.
"Plan?" He asked, "Well, I was planning on going back to school on Monday to find out more about what's been happening," He said and Severus huffed.
"I can fill you in right now," he said, "They are freaking out that you are gone, especially your friends,"
"They aren't my friends," Harry retorted and Severus frowned then nodded when he recalled the papers that Harry had shown them earlier.
"Right," the older vampire replied before moving to sit on the couch opposite Tom and glancing at the brunette.
"Is there something between them?" Harry whispered slowly to Lucius who got flustered at his mate's whispering voice in his ear and his breath on the side of his face.
"Tom is in love with Severus, he keeps trying to court him, but Sev keeps refusing even though he feels the same," Lucius whispered slowly, making sure that neither of the men heard.
Nodding, Harry walked over to the armchair opposite the already-seated males. "Do you have a specific plan in mind?" He asked and Tom shook his head.
"No, we haven't gotten much information lately, so we haven't been able to plan," He said, and Harry nodded.
"Well, when I get back, you will have all the information you need to take those bastards down and put them where they belong," He said firmly and Tom grinned at him.
