Approaching with a knowing smile, he greeted us warmly. "Danni, hello! I'm glad to see you're here already. Are you prepared for our first day of filming tomorrow?" Mr. Trevor asked cheerfully.

"I'm ready, Mr. Trevor. I've been eagerly anticipating this moment for two months, and now it's finally here, sir," I replied with a hint of excitement.

"Great! And what about you, Scott?" Mr. Trevor inquired as he turned his attention to Scott.

"Scott? How does Scott fit into all of this, sir?" I interjected, casting a curious glance in Scott's direction.

"Didn't you inform Danni that you're stepping in for Noah? You should have told her, Scott," Mr. Trevor explained.

"Oops, sorry, Danni. I forgot to mention to you yesterday that Mr. Trevor had already approached me about the role, even before you selected Noah as the lead. And remember, I never said I wouldn't lend a hand, right? We make a great team after all," Scott clarified, caressing my shoulder.

"Wow, really? Thank you!" I exclaimed, a mix of shock and delight evident in my expression.

"That's all I ever wanted to hear. And I'm sorry for not telling you earlier. You already know why?" Scott remarked, smirking at the memory and drawing closer to embrace me.

As the entire cast and crew settled in for the upcoming film production, I found myself reflecting on the invaluable support Scott had provided me in achieving my dreams. It dawned on me that I didn't need to distance myself from him, even if I sensed he felt overwhelmed in our relationship. Scott had consistently stood by me, offering his assistance and reassurance whenever I needed it most. Through the challenges we faced together, our bond had grown stronger, revealing a depth of love and admiration that I had overlooked before.

After a long and productive day of finalizing the script and preparations, we finally had a quiet moment alone with Luke in our hotel room. Scott tenderly carried our exhausted son, who had fallen deeply asleep on his shoulder, after a playful time with his godmother, Alice. The sight of them together stirred a sense of peace and contentment within me, reminding me of the unwavering support and love that surrounded us.

I am still in disbelief at the incredible acts of kindness he has shown me. Every time I found myself in trouble, he was always there to come to my rescue.

"Um, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you've done for me, Scott," I expressed gratefully as we settled Luke into bed.

"It's no trouble at all. We do everything for Luke's sake, and even if the situation were reversed, I know you would do the same for me," Scott replied.

"You're right, I would," I replied, embracing him as he rose after arranging Luke in our bed.

There was a sudden sense of unease washed over me as we found ourselves face-to-face once again. Despite the intimate moments we shared at his house and throughout the trip, there was an unspoken tension between us. Yet, deep down, I realized how much I had missed him, and I could no longer contain my feelings. As Scott began to speak, I couldn't resist the urge any longer and moved closer, planting a kiss on his lips.

Gradually, I moved in closer, completely absorbed in the embrace of our kiss, as if I couldn't get enough, displaying an eagerness that mirrored that of an overeager beaver. His arms enveloped me, drawing me nearer, while his hand cupped my cheek tenderly. Our kiss was filled with a deep passion, an unbreakable connection that kept us locked in a moment of intense emotion. It felt like a long-awaited moment, something so profoundly meaningful that I couldn't have imagined anything better.

Regrettably, our kiss was interrupted by the sound of Luke stirring and crying softly in his sleep. Instinctively, I knew he was calling for his "Mama," though in my heart, I believed he needed his "Papa" more. The three of us found ourselves sharing a bed for the first time since Luke was a baby, despite the occasional snoring and sleep talking from the two of them. As long as we were together, safe and sound, the noises were of little consequence. That night turned out to be a treasure beyond compare, a culmination of love, intimacy, and a familial bond that filled me with unparalleled happiness.

The next day, I awoke to find myself without Scott and Luke beside me. However, I soon noticed a note left by Scott on the bedside table, informing me that he had taken Luke for a stroll and that I should get ready for the first day of our work. Embracing the autumn season, I adjusted my attire to suit the weather, opting for more casual clothing, boots, and a cozy bonnet.

Stepping out of my room, I was greeted by a remarkable sunrise, a sight that I rarely had the opportunity to behold despite my early rising habits. It was a serene moment, one that etched itself into my memory as a breathtaking scene to treasure.

As I strolled through the hotel corridors in search of Scott and Luke, I unexpectedly encountered Mr. Trevor, who appeared to be departing for the film shoot location. Curious if he had crossed paths with Scott, I approached him without hesitation.
