I stare outside the car window as we pull up in front of the airport.
"Can I have your passport?" my dad asks. "We came through a private jet, so we have to go to a private terminal."
"A private jet?" I quiz, staring at him blankly as I hand him my passport.
"Yes, we wanted to give you as much privacy as we could." Mom says as he rubs my arm. "I know it's hard leaving a place you grew up in your whole life, but I promise Barcelona is better than anywhere else. And the people there are amazing, we know you do marine biology so we called the best marine biology center in barcelona and they are willing to test you and if you pass you can get the job Your fathers players are the friendliest people you'll ever meet. You will finally be home my baby." She sighs as she tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.
I nod sadly, looking down.
"Okay, lets go!" My dad chirps as he pushes the cadey with some of the suitcases on it.
"Didn't we have like, 100 more suitcases filled with my stuff?" i ask, staring at the 2 suitcases.
"Oh, yes. But we had that brought and loaded into the jet last night. These suitcases just have emergency things." Dad explains. I nod and walk behind him with Mom who holds onto my hand.
"I'm so excited for you to finally come and see your home. And you have 2 siblings. Asia and Dan. Asia is a girl and she's 6, Dan is a boy and he's 2." Mom says with the brightest, most happiest voice I've ever seen.
"Do they know about me?" I ask.
"Yes, we told them and Asia started crying out of happiness. She's so excited to have a sister." She says as she pulls out her phone. Dad starts to show our passports to these people at a desk as they type something on their computer. "Here." Mom shows me a picture of two little kids and I can't help be smile.
"Asia looks so much like me." I grin, staring at the girl. "And Dan is the cutest oh my god." My mind starts to go back to Chris, but I try to push him away so I don't start crying.
