𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: In the dormitory building corridor.

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: 4:41 PM, Thursday.

𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐢'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕:
I've been waiting for Kugisaki to come back.
She said she'd be here around 4:30 PM.
It's a bit past that, but I'll wait.
A few minutes later, I see her walk into campus.
She's wearing a hoodie and pajama pants, and she's holding her bag in hand.
She looks so pretty.
She walks over to me.

Nobara: "Hey."

Megumi: "Hi.
You're back..
Did you have fun yesterday?"

"I did.
A lot of fun.
I'm glad to be back too, though.
I don't really like my hometown much.
I only went back for Fumi."

"I see.."

I won't ask her about it much.
I don't want my jealousy levels to rise again.
It's not a pleasant feeling, to say the least.
She goes over to her dorm and unlocks her door, putting her bag inside on her desk.

Nobara: "Wanna come inside for a while?"

Megumi: "Sure."

I follow her inside, and sit down on one side of her bed.
She closes her door and sits down next to me.

Nobara: "What did you do while I was gone?"

Megumi: "Uh..
Me and Itadori went to watch a movie yesterday.
I watched a few episodes of Naruto Shippuden yesterday evening.
Itadori went on a solo mission today, so I didn't have much to do."

"I see.
Was the movie good?"

"Yeah, it was.
Uh, do you have any other plans for today?"

"No, why?"

"I mean..
I wanted to ask if, uh, I could spend the rest of the day with you."

"Sure, why not?
You can stay here for today."

"Alright..."

"You know, I'm feeling a bit tired right now..
I'll just take a small nap, okay?
Wake me up in like half an hour."

"Oh, uh, sure..
Should I leave?"

"Nah, it's fine, you can just chill here meanwhile.
Wake me up in half an hour."

"I will.
Take a nap then.
I'll sit here till you wake up."

She lies down on her bed and falls asleep pretty quickly.
She must be tired.
I guess I'll just sit on this side of her bed until she wakes up.
I feel nervous, though.
She looks so peaceful while sleeping..
And cute, too.
Gosh, I feel nervous to be around her right now.
I slowly move my hand and put it on her head, stroking her hair.
Should I be doing this?
Will she be okay with it?
I hope so.

35 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫

It's been over 30 minutes and she's still asleep.
Should I wake her up?
I should.
I turn over to her and shake her a bit.

Megumi: "Kugisaki, wake up.
It's past 5:30.
You won't be able to sleep at night if you sleep longer than this."

She slowly opens her eyes and pushes me back groggily.
A bit rude, but I don't mind.

Nobara: "Ugh..
I was having such a good nap..
And you woke me up."

She nudges my arm.

Megumi: "You asked me to wake you up.
So I did.
..Anyways, you'll be awake till late at night if you sleep now.
And you'll need your rest."

Nobara: "Fine, fine..
My hair's a bit tangled now.
I'll just brush it."

She reaches for her hair brush, and I grab her wrist gently before she can pull it towards her.

Nobara: "What?"

Megumi: "Let me brush your hair for you.
You just woke up.
You're still groggy.
Take it easy."

She blushes.
Is it really this easy to get her flustered?
Or is it because of me?
I hope it's the latter.
I take her hair brush from her hand and start brushing her hair slowly, trying my best to untangle the knots without causing her pain.
It seems like she doesn't mind it too much, so I'm fine for now.
After a few minutes, I finish brushing her hair and put her brush back on the dresser.

Nobara: "Uh, thanks, for.. brushing my hair for me.."

Megumi: "No problem."

She's stopped blushing.
Good.
She looks way too cute when she does.
We sit and talk for a while, and I honestly lost track of time until I look out and see the sun set from Kugisaki's window.
It's 6:17 PM.
She gets up and goes over to her dresser, and takes out what looks like a tube of lip gloss and puts it on her lips.
I walk over to her dresser and stand next to her.
She's quite short.
She's ten centimetres shorter than me, at the very least.
It's cute.
I lean on the wall next to her dresser.

Megumi: "Is that lip gloss?"

Nobara: "Yeah, it is."

"Can I try it?"

She looks at me, confused for a moment, then agrees.

Nobara: "Sure.
You look like the type of guy to use lip gloss anyway, so why no--"

Before she could finish her sentence, I decide to take this opportunity to my advantage.
I put my hand on her cheek to turn her head towards me, and lean in to steal a quick kiss.
Her lips are softer than they look.
I pull back, and press my lips together to apply her lip gloss.

Megumi: "Hm.
It's cherry flavoured.
I like it."

Kugisaki just stares at me in what looks to be surprise and embarrassment.

Nobara: "Huh?
Did you just--?
Uh..
Fushiguro, am I dreaming or did you just kiss me right now..?"

I stare at her for a moment, unable to speak properly.
This is one of the only times I've stuttered like this.
I can feel my face heat up and I'm so clearly blushing I can see the scarlet tint on my cheeks in her mirror.

Megumi: "Uh, y-yeah, I did..
But, sorry, I really should've.. asked first, right..?
Uhm..
Just- just forget that ever happened.."

Nobara: "Okay.."

She's blushing too.
A lot.
She's blushing a lot more than I am, clearly speechless, and rightfully so.
I just pulled her in for a kiss without prior warning.
Did I make her uncomfortable?
Probably.
I'm starting to regret my decision.

Megumi: "I'll just.. uh, go back to my dorm for now..
Sorry.."

I walk out of her dorm and go into mine, locking the door.

What the hell just happened?
Fushiguro kissed me.
He kissed me.
Is it normal for your crush to just kiss you out of nowhere and then leave?
F̶u̶c̶k̶.
I'm so confused..
Why..?
Looking at my face in the mirror, I'm literally as red as a tomato right now.
He likes my lip gloss.
I love how his lips feel on mine.
I know he has pretty cracked lips, but still, I loved that kiss.
But I don't know why he kissed me so out of the blue.
I feel butterflies in my stomach.
This feeling is so good, and I find myself wanting more.
It feels like torture to be away from him in this shy and flustered state.
I want him to kiss me again.
But he's not here now, and I'm too embarrassed to go to his dorm for such a stupid reason.
We aren't even together.
Just because he kissed me once doesn't mean we're dating, obviously..
But does this mean he likes me back..?
That must be the case.
He never really showed signs of liking me though..
He does get jealous at times..
That shows he cares.
But that doesn't necessarily mean he likes me back..
Maybe he just likes spending quality time with people..
Is he like that with everyone..?
God, what do I do?!
