The whole scene was like a slice of life painting: the hustle and bustle of the street, the mouthwatering smells from the food stalls, and the laughter of kids echoing in the background.
you were soaking it all in, relishing every moment of your leisurely stroll.
But then, out of nowhere, those first few raindrops came down.
At first, it was just a light sprinkle, nothing too bothersome. As you looked up, you felt that fresh sprinkle on your skin, and then suddenly,
it was like the heavens opened up!
Caught off guard, you made a beeline for the nearest canopy, seeking refuge from the deluge. As there you stood, watching as the rain poured down, feeling a bit bummed out. The festival vibe seemed to dampen along with the weather, and your mood followed suit.
you leaned against the canopy pole, holding onto your rapidly melting ice cream like it was the last one on Earth.
The rhythm of the rain hitting the canopy drowned out the lively chatter of the street, and for a moment, it felt like it was just you and the rain.
Despite your excitement, the rain had put a damper on your mood.
you noticed Takemichi and Mitsuya darting off in the opposite direction. Without a second thought, you decided to tail them, rain or not.
Who needs dry clothes anyway?
Ignoring the soggy discomfort, you picked up your pace, eager to find out what had them running off like that. Dodging puddles and sidestepping festival-goers, you kept your eyes locked on Takemichi and Mitsuya as they disappeared around a corner.
Following suit, you found yourself in a quieter section of the festival, the sound of the rain creating a soothing background noise.
As you followed Takemichi and Mitsuya, they led you to a parking lot where chaos erupted. Your heart skipped a beat as you spotted Draken in the midst of a brawl with a gang, and Emma standing aside.
"Em!" You sprinted towards her, checking for any injuries. She looked visibly worried, but she reassured you, "I'm okay, help Draken!"
You looked over to Draken, who was in the middle of a heated exchange with Moebius. Blood was oozing from his head, and he seemed to be losing steam.
Without hesitation, you jumped into the fray and intervened just as a guy was about to catch Draken off guard with a sucker punch. You gave the guy a swift kick, sending him stumbling backwards. Draken was clearly taken aback by your sudden appearance.
