Lev finally had the chance to blossom into the sunny cheery person he used to be before he had met Spencer and his old friends. He was finally free to do what he wanted, go where he wanted and talk to people he wanted to talk to all this time.To say this absolutely flipped his life was an understatement. He had bloomed into a happy person with passions, dreams, hopes, aspirations. He finally wasn't held back by a huge looming darkness. In his case pain didn't take the form of an ugly creature, his pain instead took the form of a young dark haired boy, he was like a rose, beautiful yet wounded if not handled with the utmost discretion. Now it was gone, he was free.

However when Lev thrived in his new future, so did Kenji. As the seasons changed, he moved on, loved another. The boy's name was Hoshi, and it really did fit. He shone like a star, his light blond hair and piercing blue eyes would absolutely entrance most of those around him, as well as his kind ambiverted demeanour which attracted all types of people to him, those more closed off as well as those who were more outgoing. Kenji thought he was beautiful. He asked him out on halloween, having seen him the day before for some reason he knew halloween would be the absolute perfect day to ask him that dreaded question. And the other, just as enthralled by his being, accepted.

Hoshi definitely helped Kenji heal from some of the things in his past, such as his issues with his parent's absence and his past relationships with other people including his ex-boyfriend Kazuyo and Lev. Deep down Hoshi knew they wouldn't last.He was too blindly in love with Lev without even realising it, and it made all his past relationships fail. Kenji knew his relationships would fail because of Lev, but he didn't understand why.Surely, there is absolutely no way in hell that he still had a crush on that idiot, right?

But deep down he felt he would have to admit it eventually. He was madly in love with that stupid idiotic blonde headed fool with the most charming piercing eyes and the most sculpted and strong yet gentle face.Oh no. NO WAY Kenji could still have any sort of emotions towards Lev except for anger and betrayal, he just simply could not have that. And yet he knew that he did, and it killed him.It ruined his friendships, relationships, his whole entire life was ruined because everyone around him just wasn't that one boy, and no one could replace him.

Everyone else around Kenji except apparently himself knew that Kenji could never truly be happy until he had Lev back, they were two halves of the same soul. No matter how much either one of the two boys would try to pull away, it was useless because life seemed to always find a way to bring them back to each others lives.

The weather was beginning to grow snowier and colder as the holidays approached. The mood around the school was light and festive between all pupils and teachers alike, including Lev and his close friend Kovit, who were discussing the upcoming New Years party. Kovit was a rather sarcastic type, sometimes brutally honest but still a superb partner for class projects and random shenanigans. He had met Lev while he was still with Spencer, and helped him through healing from the damage he had caused. Lev would never stop being grateful to him for that.Little did Lev know that while he was healing, thriving and blooming into the best version of himself, a certain dancers eye was caught by him.
