Lev and Clementine were in the back of the car together, resting their heads upon each other. It was something they always did, no matter how long or short the journey, how long the drive or flight was. It was comfy for them both and their height difference made it work in such a way that neither of their necks had to strain for comfort in any of their given positions.

Clementine sighed, sometimes she felt Lev needed a right slap to get back to his senses. She was really mean to him quite often, picking on him relentlessly but in reality she loved her cousin, a lot. They had always stuck together like two peas of a pod, they could read each other like a book, they were mostly definitely each other's absolute closest family.

"Oh Lev, why are you always stuck with some shitty dude? You really need better tastes, higher standards should be a legal obligation for someone of your nature."

Lev couldn't help but slightly scoff at his cousin's remark, wasn't she the one who had set him up with this guy?? Sometimes Clementine was not the best at reading people based off of their disposition, but whenever something happened to go south, Lev knew he could count on his big cousin Clementine to somehow manage to recover the situation and usually even bring a silver lining to the most dire of circumstances.

"Clemmy you cannot be talking right now you literally set me up with a creep!! I'm never trusting your love intuition ever again."

By now the car had pulled back up to the place of the party, the vehicle coming to a halt at the girl's front door. The blond pair thanked the person driving sincerely and got out of the car, the man shutting the door behind them. The duo took a deep breath before they started making their way around the interior of the almost slightly comically large house.

The two had not even mentioned to their parents that they were going to go anywhere at all, so they had to sneak back in through the house without arising any suspicion that they were gone and make it back to one of the spare rooms for the guests to stay at, where they were actually meant to be. They made their way around the house as stealthily and sneakily as two teens could plausibly be and somehow didn't get caught by their family.

They made it upstairs, both collapsing onto a huge white bed. They made eye contact for a minute with each other before they burst into a loud melodic cacophony of laughter.

"Damn, that dude was crazy Lev."

"Yeah, he really was huh- I TOLD YOU CLEMMY!!!"

"I know but look you're alright now aren't you?? You're such a baby sometimes Lev it is actually unbelievable."

"What if I wasn't okay though what if I was home alone at the time this could be so much worse I'm lucky to be okay right now Clemmy."

Luck.Luck somehow always managed to be on Lev's side by the end of every situation. It was almost uncanny how he could get trapped in an unlucky spot and still manage to come out on top by the end. It ranged from the small things like getting into class just as his name was called during attendance to the biggest, most life changing things. Like Kenji. Kenji changed his life forever.

"Lev I know, I was worried for you too. I'm so sorry I picked literally the strangest guy ever to set you up with, that was my bad"

"Clementine don't apologise you're alright, you know I can't stay mad at you ever, you're literally my twin girl!!"

The two were lying next to each other, smiling happily. They had a bond not like most cousins, but a lot more like siblings. They grew up together, just the two of them a lot of the time, and it really shows through how close the two are.

"Levochka dear you really deserve an actual solid person to love you. Your first boyfriend was an absolute fool for how he treated you, and this guy that just happened was hardly any better!! Why aren't you out there looking for someone? You're young, handsome, kind. Anyone would be LUCKY to have you!!"
