A/N     Hi guys!

How's life?

(previously)

On the porch stood the couple I had spoken to this morning before school.

I gasped; I had almost forgotten about that.

Mom turned to the couple, and, astonishingly, I saw recognition flash across her features.

Mom gave this little gasp, and I froze on the steps.

"Honey, who is it?" Dad called from the kitchen.

The blonde woman's eyes widened, she- wait a second. She RECOGNIZED my dads voice?

"It's- it's-" mom stammered, trying to answer him.

"Hi, Piper," the man with green eyes said wearily. "How are you?"

(Percy's POV)

"You know these people?" The girl said to Piper.

"Sammy, I-" Piper said, turning to the girl. She was clearly stressed, with her hands waving widely in the air, doing that thing with her hair that she always did on the Argo II.

"Piper, why do you have a ten year old girl in your house!?" I asked confusedly.

"Excuse you!" the girl glared at me and put her hands on her hips. "I'm THIRTEEN."

"No way," I whispered to Annabeth. "We can't have been that  small when we were her age."

"Rude!" the girl said, crossing her arms.

Annabeth elbowed me, (she does that a lot now days) "she's-"

"Wha- " Annabeth's explanation was interrupted by a crashing sound. I craned my neck to see a man standing in the hallway behind Piper. It appeared that he had just dropped a blue coffee mug on the floor in surprise, which had shattered, causing the crash.

He was wearing jeans, a collared shirt, and had glasses and blonde hair. For some reason he looked familiar.....

I stepped forward, shoving past Piper to help the man clean up the broken pieces.

"Too bad," I said sadly, looking at the shards. "Blue's the best color."

The mans head jerked up suddenly, and he looked into my eyes. He seemed to be searching for something. His eyes suddenly snapped to Annabeth, who was standing politely on the porch, waiting for Piper to invite her in.

"Percy? Annabeth?!" he exclaimed, eyes widening.

I looked up, examining the man more closely.

"Jason?" Annabeth said from the doorway.

Jason smiled. "I-"

"Who's Percy and Annabeth?" the girl said from the stairs. I jumped; I had forgotten about her.

Jason's eyes suddenly widened again, he glanced at the girl before exchanging panicked looks with Piper.

"Who are you again?" I said to her, turning my head up so I could see her on the stairs.

The girls face fell, and I wondered what I had said wrong.

"She's-" Jason said wildly.

"Mom, who are these people and what are they doing in our house?" the girl asked, turning to Piper.
