Elena walks into the kitchen, John turns off the tv.
John: Morning.
Elena: What are you doing here?
John: Coffee?
Elena: We're not doing that. We did that last night. No more avoiding. Why are you here?
John: I'm here to protect you. That's all I can say for the moment.
Elena: What do you mean that's all you can say?
John: I'll tell you more when I'm convinced I can trust you.
Jenna and Lucy walks into the kitchen.
Jenna: Oh God, I'm so late
Lucy: Not my fault someone turned off the alarm, darling.
Jenna sees John and goes wide eyed in shock
Jenna: What the hell?
John: Good morning to you, Jenna. Who are you?
Lucy: Lucifer Morningstar. John Gilbert, I presume?
Jenna: It's okay I'm confused, right? Because we were not expecting you, like, ever.
John: Well, I got in late last night. Elena let me in.
Lucy glares at him, lips curling up into a angry sneer.
Jenna: I'm still confused here.
John: I decided to come back and stay for a while.
Jenna: Not here, you're not.
John: Actually, you can't stop me from living here.
Jenna: Actually I can, as legal guardian.
John: Yeah, about that...um, Elena, you want me to explain the situation, or would you like to do the honors?
Jenna: Okay, what's going on?
Elena: I'm sorry, Jenna. I should have told you earlier, but--
John: I'm Elena's biological father. There, now you know.
He walks out of the kitchen, smirking as he goes. Lucy growls.
ANGELIC MANSION
Michelle and Natasha are walking down the stairs
Michelle: So the Ripper brought the father back?
Natasha: Yes. Claims he can help us.
Michelle: Yes we would be idiots to trust him. Though he does know how to keep Elena safe.
Natasha: Wrong! I will be the one who keeps her safe, no one else.
Melissa: Relax, I was only joshing you. Do calm it with the jealousy, sister
Natasha looks away blushing a light shade of pink.
FORBES HOUSE
Caroline opens the door and Serena walks inside
Serena: What's wrong, darling?
Caroline: Tyler knows about you and Damon. He knows that Damon killed Mason. I didn't say a word.
Serena: I know you didn't, darling.
Caroline: Tyler was so upset. The look on his face, he was so betrayed.
Serena: Come here
She holds out her arms motioning for her, Caroline lunges at her throwing her arms around her tightly as the archangel wraps her arms around her, pressing her lips to the side of her head.
