(5)~★Under the tree★~

-Y/n's POV-

It has been more than a year since Vaggie's dissapperance and today was extermination day..

The same day she dissappeared..

Today I felt a bit..lazy...as one would say..I really didn't feel like exterminating today but at last....

I was fixing my hair in front of the mirror as I thought of the events that had happened for the past year

It was the usual but...felt so off..

Sure,I have other friends but Vaggie has always been a true friend to me..

I also have been hanging out with Lucifer this past extermination and I found myself enjoying his company quite a lot..

After I was done I stared at my reflection thinking to myself

..This is gonna be a long day....

I then put my spear behind my back and grabbed my exorcist mask while walking out.

I sighed as I stretched my wings and flew towards the gates of heaven.

-No one's POV-

As you landed outside of heaven you saw that most of the exorcists were already there as you were a bit late today.

But then,you heard someone spoke to you from behind...A voice you very well recognized..

"Well somebody late today~" Jecka said behind you..

"Go away Jecka..I'm not in the mood to listen to your useless little trash talks..." You said clearly annoyed by her

"Awww,Y/n's mad.." Jecka mocked "Is it because your still sad that your bitchy little friend of yours left y-" Jecka then froze as you pointed your spear towards her.

"Don't.fucking.test me... " You said as you then scowled "At least I HAVE friends unlike you.."

"クソビッチ...(Kusobitchi..)" You said under your breath as you lowered your spear and walked away.

A few moments later,Adam gave his little speech to all the exorcists something about fucking those sinners up or something..you weren't really paying attention.

You were thinking about what had happened last extermination.

.-Flashback-.

The warm winds of hell flows through the tree that both you and Lucifer sat under.

The leaves that were drying up fell to the ground gracefully as you both were chatting with each other.

Lucifer was talking about his little duck collection that he had at his house which you found amusing.

Who knew that the legendary king of hell himself could be so...cute.

Then the bell from the heavens embassy rang throughout hell.

Lucifer then takes his hand off yours "Guess you be going now.." he said as he stands up and offers his hand to you to help you get up.

You take his hand as he pulls you up "Guess so.." You said and smiled softly as you looked at him

You then walked on over to him and moved your hand towards his neck "I quite enjoyed your company today.

He inhaled a breath shakily but softly so you couldn't hear as your hand was close to his neck.

You then grabbed the dry leaf that was on his collar "See you next extermination day..?"

Heat then rose to his cheeks as he then clear his throat and looks away while scratchin his neck "Y-yeah,sure.."

You chuckled softly at his sudden reaction and was going to turn around and fly away but was stopped by someone who held your wrist.

"Wait..Y/n....C-can I ask you for a small favour..?

Lucifer asked as you look back at him "hm?" You respond wanting to hear what he had to say.

"C-can you...come back here sooner next extermination day..?"

"Why?" You asked as his hold on your wrist moved to your hand.

"Because...I-uh..have something special planned for us that day!" He says as he chuckles nervously.

You just smile confusedly as he was clearly hiding something but didn't question it.

"Sure,I'll see to it" Lucifer's eyes then lit up as you answered his question.

"I should be going now" You said as you turned around to fly away

"It was a pleasure meeting you again,Lucifer.." Before he could even say anything you extended your wings and flew away to get back to heaven.

I snapped back into reality as the portal then opened..

I then put on my exorcist mask and gripped my spear tightly..

I took a deep breath and followed the other exorcist that flew over to the portal for the extermination.
