(7)~★Food and ducks★~

-Y/n's POV-

I stared at the huge palace that was in front of me with astonishment.

"Impressive right?" Lucifer asked me with a hint of pride as he let's go of my hand.

"It surely is" I answered his question as he then opens the door to palace, grabbed my hand and practically dragged me in.

"Follow me" He said in excitement as we were now walking to a giant hallway.

The hallway was beautifully decorated as it was connected to a number of rooms to it.

While we were walking through the hallway I was a bit curious as to why there was no employees helping taking care of the place but I didn't mind.

We then stopped walking as Lucifer peeked into the room that I assume we were going to go in.

Then he fixed his hat on his head as he held the door open "Ladies first~"

I chuckled softly at this as I found his behavior today quite amusing and entered the room.

The room was beautiful decorated similarly to the rest of the palace but in the middle of the room there was a table for two with a vase filled with (F/flower) with medium sized candles on either sides. There was also (F/food) served on the table with a bottle of wine on the side.

(I'm not good at explaining shit 😭)
( Just imagine a fancy ass dinner )

I was fairly shocked by all of this "Lucifer...are you trying to romance me?" I asked jokingly.

"Maybe.." He answered under his breath and chuckled softly.

"Is why you bombarded me with questions last time?" I asked with an eyebrow raised.

He then thought back to our last interaction "Uhh...yeah pretty much" He answered as he then offered his hand to me "Come on,let's not waste anymore time".

I then put my hand on his as he led me to a chair and I sat down .

-No one's POV-

You both ate together happily and also managed to engage in a pretty fun conversation.

After you both finished eating Lucifer asked to be excused for a moment as he had received an important call.

You had decided to help wash the dishes while Lucifer was outside taking the call.

But suddenly you felt like you were being watched..

"....

I know you're there Lucifer"

You hear him chuckle softly as you then felt a pair of arms encircle your waist.

"You know...you don't have to wash the dishes,right..I would've done it myself" Lucifer asked while hugging you from behind.

You then felt your cheeks became warmer "Oh please,it's the least I could do after you offered me a delicious meal together.

"Hmm,in that case..could you hurry up a bit...I have something to show you."He says while playing with your hair to which you smiled softly in response.

You found that his actions were oddly....comforting

After you had finishes washing the dishes Lucifer then led you to the hallway.

He then enters another room to which you followed him "Stay there I just need to grab something real quick..."

As you entered the room you saw that it was his office and it was filled with piles of rubber ducks..TONS of piles.

You were both amazed and shocked at the number of rubber ducks that was in here "This is what you call 'little collection'!"

"Huh,oh..little might be an understatement but I think I have more somewhere...." He says while looking through a drawer for something.

"You have more!?" You asked completely in shock as you weren't expecting him to have this much ducks..is he okay?....

As you were observing all all the different ducks that he had you heard that Lucifer finally found what he was looking for "Found it!"

He then walk over to you with his hands behind his back to not reveal what he has "Y/n..I have something to give you.."

You looked at him curiously as to see what he had behind his back.

"Can you...give me your hand for a second..?" he asked as he held his hand out for yours.

You then put your hand on his with your palm facing up.

His hand that was behind his back puts something on your hand "Here,a gift from yours truly" He had given you a rubber duck that seems to look to resemble you..

"Lucifer.." You were fairly shocked by this as you both had only met for a few days..though it didn't mean you didn't appreciate it.

"Since we first met I...couldn't get you out of my head so I made this..I've been saving this for the right moment to give it to you so why not I give it to you now...I know this sound cheesy and it isn't much but consider this as a form of appreciation for the little time that we got to spend together" He said tenderly.

"..That's so sweet of you Lucifer...thank you..I appreciate it" You said to him as you both stared into each others eyes.

The moment then was rudely interrupted by the faint sound of chiming from the heaven embassy.

"Oh-..is it time already.." He said with a hint of disappointment as he couldn't spend more time with you.

"I guess so.." You say as you were also a bit disappointed by how it was already time to go back.

"Guess you should get going then" the same sparkly red smoke from earlier surrounded you both as you both were transported you back to were you both first met as it was closer to where to portal back to heaven was going to open.

You then look back at the rubber duck that he gave you earlier as a soft smile formed on your face.

"This was a wonderful experience.."you said as you hand safely stored the gift your pocket.

Before he could say anything you used both of your hands to cup his face and kissed him on the forehead "See you next time?" You asked

He was left speechless for a moment before he responded "Y-yeah..see you next time" he said as he unintentionally leaned into your touch.

He then grabbed one of your hands and gingerly kissed to top of it "Goodbye,N/n.." He says softly.

A soft blush then manages to creep up your face "Goodbye to you too,Lucifer.." You as you slowly take a few steps back.

You then bowed your head to him as you extended your wings and flew away.

He smiles as he watches you fly away as he then teleported himself back to his palace.

...

Not knowing that you both were being watched just then...

Sorry for the slow update guys writers block was being a bitch.

Speaking of I will be taking a break for a while because I have another test starting next month..

BUT I will be writing as soon as I'm free 😊
