7- Comfort of the time past

🌊Nya's POV🌊-

He remembers! He remembers the promise... My Jay remembers me a little! I can't believe it! He is going to remember me I know it. I feel him cling onto my suit as he cries a bit. Oh my Jay... Tears stain my top slowly as if to stop it. I shrug it off as Lloyd smiles at Jay. Poor Lloyd literally just woke up at 3 am to help me with Jay...
Oh poor Jay... I stroke his hair as he sobs lighter now, as if the weight of his power is being lifted, he still clings to me. The fabric curls in his fingers in small bunches as his eyes go all red and puffy. Maybe he feels guilty for the TV? I mean he blew it up. "Its okay Jay... I am here now..."
"I-I am sorry..." He wipes his nose trying to fight back the tears that stream down his face...
"Oh don't be sorry you're fine... You are safe.."
"I-"
"Jay don't worry..." He doesn't correct me at all when I call him Jay. No Agent Walker talks or trying to fight me. He just sits there. Static runs through his hair as the lightning returns into his palms. Last time he was like this because of a nightmare of- Of him. I will never let anyone hurt him like that ever again. I don't care if I have to go through every realm and die myself, he will never deal with that ever again. We won't ever deal with that again.
I stroke his face a bit as he leans into my hand a bit. I hear his breath shake as he looks at me with sorrowful eyes and tear stains on his face. "I am here... I will always be here..." His breathing softens at my words as I wipe a tear from his cheek as he rests his head on my lap. Oh Jay... His eyes close a bit as the weight on me lightens. Before I can think soft snores come from him. I find myself laughing slightly as he dozes off releasing his grip on my clothes. "So he remembers you a bit?"
"Seems so Lloyd."
"What did you promise him?" I take a deep breath as I look over to him. "After I came back from the ocean, after the overlord chaos... I promised I would always help him, to always be here for him. It was one of the best sunsets I have ever had with him in my life" I chuckle a bit as Lloyd smiles at me "Well I would say he still cares for you under all of the amnesia. It is good you promised him that..." I raise an eyebrow as he looks at Jay a bit with sad eyes and a thoughtful smile. "Why?"
"Nya when you left everyone mourned you but Jay had it the worst. He blamed himself and went to isolate himself to help you. He was a mess when we found him so when you returned I saw him see you as his light... He needed you and who you were to him Nya... His love..." I find my eyes stinging as Jay stirs in my lap a bit. He really missed me didn't he? I can't imagine what it was like for him during that time when I forgot him. When I left him all alone out there... I won't leave him like I did before. I will help him now.. I owe him that. No he deserves that. 

~Time skip to the next day~

💚Lloyd's POV💚-

I stretch up my arms as I look over to Nya. Her hair is a mess with her eyes closed in a peaceful sleep, her hand rests on Jay's sleeping head who is dribbling a bit. Did we go to sleep? Probably. I rub the sleep from my eyes as I scratch my head once more while the two sleep like angels. Oh they are adorable... Why can't I fall in love like that! Doesn't matter Lloyd. I carefully stand up and place the blanket over the two lovebirds, and creep around the glass on the ground. Why do I have to deal with it this morning! The glass shards inch away from my skin as I pass out of the room pulling out my phone. 11:39?! Who let me have a lie in! I have to train the two idiots! 
I walk into the kitchen where a very stressed Kai, Cole and Zane sit with a- Vengestone... Thats a vengestone bracelet! I walk over to meet Kai's gaze. His eyes glaze in worry and guilt. "Why do you have vengestone in the monastery!" 
"Zane found it on- He found it on Jay's wrist Lloyd...." Cole looks at the table with a hint of anger in his eyes as he scowls slightly at the bracelet. What... Wait... No. "What do you mean 'found it on Jay's wrist'? Jay would never wear vengestone after everything. He-"
"From what I saw at the administration, they do try to stop powers at work unless it was to help the place. I think that Jay doesn't know what it is for now..." I clench my fists and look over to Kai who is looking worriedly at me. He places his hand on my shoulder calmly as I sit down on a chair. How dare they! How could they do this to him! It hurts to even be near vengestone let alone wear it for two whole years! 
Maybe that is why he had a panic attack yesterday. Why he was so afraid. He doesn't remember his powers yet and he thinks he is breaking the code of that stupid job of his. I swear when I get my hands on them they will- "Lloyd calm down... Your eyes are going purple..." Kai places his arm around me as Cole takes a deep breath. "I know we all want to end that place but for now we need to focus on helping Jay as much as we can. We may have to reteach him how to use his powers."
"Not me!"
"No thank you."
"Fine I will do it. I am mentoring Sora and Arin anyways so as long as we keep him from the right wing then we will be good" We all chuckle slightly as the words leave my lips. I will help him now.
