"What's the plot of the book?" Mira asked, continuing to do her pushups. It had been a few days since they had been hanging out, and finding out about Sorsha's addiction to books, they had developed a bond around them. Mira would bring her books, she'd read in her cell and then when Mira trained alone she'd tell her about the story.

Sorsha bookmarked her page with her fingers before looking at her.

"It's a fantasy about a man whose daught-"

"Shit they're coming," Mira said, suddenly in a rush. In a split second Sorsha was shoved under Mira's bed miles away from the spot in the field they were in before.

Before Sorsha could utter any words, she heard the door open.

"Where have you been? And where's Patrick?" Ayra asked then sniffed around the room. "It smells like that bitch."

"Who is Patrick?" Mira said and as if on que, her guard fell right out of her closet.

"How did I end up there?" He yawned as Amer and Ayra gaped at Mira.

"Oh him? Pfft." Mira tried to quickly think of an excuse. "He loves hide and seek?"

"Right. We need to get Alec back." Amer glared at Patrick before shifting his gaze towards Ayra, who nodded. He then turned to Mira and reaffirmed his sister's question, "And why do you smell like that princess. Answer."

"Yes get Alec back." Mira nodded agreeing. When she realized the twin's  glare wasn't leaving, she sighed and answered. "I visited her."

"Why? And that too alone?" Ayra asked suspiciously.

"I wanted to."

"Alone?" Amer asked this time as Mira smirked a little.

"Yes, and?" Mira asked.

Amer rolled his eyes at her yet again unbothered expression for a thing she wasn't supposed to be doing. "You get on my nerves."

"And you are obsessed with it." Mira laughed slightly as Amer smirked a little. She was right, he did find her hot.

"He's obsessed with anything with a pair of boobs. Don't flatter yourself." Ayra rolled her eyes.

"True. Anyway, be careful Mira. Whatever it is, we cannot let that bitch walk away. Her dad's desperate and no matter what, make sure you don't fraternize and soften up to her. We cannot let her go after what we have just pulled. She's the only thing we hold against Orachi." Amer warned.

"Ya ya, I know that already. Why the fuck would I let her go?" Mira said rolling her eyes.

Hearing this, Sorsha had to keep repeating how she had to trust Mira. There was no way she'd be able to escape on her own. A medical ninja who has never actually had to fight would definitely not be well equipped to escape a foreign kingdom on her own, and make it back home safely.

"Yes, but we're already at war if you haven't realized. And if Ahana's has their defenses against us, we cannot fight off three kingdoms at once. I'm still against this whole stunt." Ayra spoke out. She still had her doubts about the stupidity they had stupidly pulled all thanks to her doofus brother and their sacrificial battle lamb.

"Okay, then do whatever the fuck you want. Let the girl go, have Orachi turned it's back on you and then when Kitsuri gets to Orachi, deal with that. Either way, we have the leverage cause we have the princess with us. As long as her life is in our hands, Orachi won't be brave enough." Mira said as Sorsha winced.

Could she really trust a stranger with her kingdom?

"Yes. Orachi is too wimpy to actually act on it. Ayra, trust me for once. I can't believe I have to keep begging you of all people to just believe in me!" Amer rolled his eyes.
