Mira, after her outburst, had calmed down completely.

Sorsha looked at her only to rediscover the same desperation she held months back when they first met.

"Can you come here?" Sorsha gently said. Mira looked at her for a while. Sorsha's eyes slightly widened at her blanked out face, something about the lack of emotion made her heart fill with pity. She then continued calmly, "I'm gonna need you to uncuff this hand. Once I heal you, you can cuff me back up."

"Heal?" Mira asked back confused. "I'm okay."

Sorsha smiled at her out of sympathy. She looked so tired, so out of place, so hopeless, yet she tried to maintain that composure as if she'd never been better. Only sympathy could be felt for someone who was away from home without wanting to show care.

Mira followed her line of vision towards her arms and then finally noticed the knife stabbing her arm.

"Oh." She mumbled, before walking close to her and uncuffing the princess. Unlike Sorsha's request, Mira uncuffed both of her hands.

"You're just... Letting me out?" Sorsha asked a bit surprised as Mira walked back up but then collapsed against the wall. She ran and helped Mira sit back up, then immediately started treating her wound as Mira just stared ahead.

"You okay? It must hurt. Especially now that the adrenaline's off." Sorsha asked. Mira turned to look at her and shook her head.

"You must be in more pain." Mira said and looked up trying to intake what just happened.

Sorsha's eyes watered as she let out a laugh. How was she still considering her pain.

"Not as much as my dad. I wonder what he's been going through. The one who loses suffers more than the lost." Sorsha said as Mira's eyes watered again.

"I-" Mira winced as Sorsha started healing her wound. "Are you a medical ninja?"

Sorsha nodded with a sense of uncertainty.

"Ya but I'm kind of useless. My dad doesn't let me out much. He always tells me the world is such a dangerous place and I'll get hurt and what not-" Sorsha then let out a laugh. "Perhaps he was right."

"Ya, I could tell by all the security around your room. A father's love I suppose." Mira said as Sorsha frowned.

"Ya. My dad's my hero. Every little girl understands that feeling huh?" Sorsha smiled as Mira nodded.

"Hmm. I guess." Mira shrugged. Sorsha then got curious about her alleged abuse towards her dad. So, not being able to control her itch, she asked.

"Do you not like your dad?" She asked as she started pumping her magic through.

Mira sighed in relief as her pain started fading a bit. She realized how Sorsha was even healing her previous bruises from all that training.

"I-" Mira started but stopped. She noticed how the girl had gotten completely saddened since they brought out the topic of dads.

Mira frowned.

"There were posters about how you hit your dad. I don't wanna believe it." Sorsha said cautiously.

"Well believe it then." Mira shrugged looking back up at the ceiling, noticing how she continued healing her.

"He must not be a good man." Sorsha frowned.

"Or I must not be a good woman. What makes you trust me? Don't be so gullible." Mira slightly glared as Sorsha laughed.

"I heard a bit about chief B before. Thought he'd be better with his daughters."
