Mira looked around. Where was she? She had returned to bed right?
What is this white surrounding? Everything around her was glowing.
"HELLO?" Mira screamed out, starting to feel a little suffocated.
"Is anyone there?!" Mira asked yet again, and started taking a few steps forward.
Soon, with her progressive steps, her breathing started getting more and more difficult. Instinctively, she stepped back without yet the struggle to inhale remained unchanged. Trying not to panic though, she called out.
"HELP! H-HELP!" Mira said screaming yet again as her breathing started becoming... painful almost. She stopped it. Suffocating without oxygen was better than the agony she was feeling while inhalation.
She then started squinting through the white light in order to see what was in front. And yet again, was greeted by that grey creature.
Still just as blurry.
Still as indistinguishable.
Mira would probably only last a minute more without her breath. But she had come this far, she wasn't going to let it go. Achieving a new sense of purpose, she chased after that being, and it started running further and further away from her.
"S-stop!" Mira mumbled, still after it. The bright lights started getting more and more blinding though. But if Mira was anything, it was persistent.
"STOP IT! STOP!"
She then heard a voice, making her panic. She looked around in search of the familiar sound. The frantic look around everywhere trying to see where he was resulted in failure however. Where was the voice coming from?
"M, STOP!" She heard him yet again. Her already pained eyes watered.
"E-eli-"
She gasped sitting back up. In front of her, she saw Alec staring at her with slightly widened eyes, holding onto his throat. She frantically started looking around for any sign of Elias. But she was sitting in the field they usually trained in.
Alec sighed out of relief.
"You... Fainted." Alec said. Mira frowned, she doesn't remember anything other than that last conversation with him.
"Okay. I feel fine, let's just train." Mira said shrugging it off and got back up into a fighting stance.
Alec looked at her for silent few seconds before getting up, "You are insane."
"By the way, I made the dome back in Orachi's palace." Mira said with a small smile as Alec's eyes glimmered.
"Really? Make it again now. For the next five minutes maintain it, I will not go easy this time." Alec warned as he started igniting his powers. He then jumped up high and Mira stared in awe. But she snapped out quickly when he started bolting back down like lightning. Mira gasped and started creating her dome.
"READY?" Alec asked. As soon as Mira nodded, he, alongside his lightning collided with her dome with a large thud. Mira shuddered when she heard the dome break. Shit. He told her to keep it on for five minutes. She fell to the ground despite trying to maintain her composure. Magic was still hard for her to get a hold of.
She then looked at Alec and her eyes widened. He had collided against the ground, about twenty feet away.
He got up and coughed whilst walking near her.
"Your dome retaliates only to a certain extent. It only hit me back with thirty percent of my own attack."
Mira shrugged. "I failed to maintain it. Probably that's why."
