Next morning, I woke up still in newts arms and shirt. I moved my head gently and he said "morning love". He kissed my forehead and pulled me closer. "W-what are we?" I asked anxiously. There was a slight pause before he said in a calmly voice "what do you want us to be darling", I got up making me sit on the bed facing him. I smiled then kissed him on the lips. We carried on kissing and giggled in between. Once we let go he smiled saying "will you be my girlfriend y/n y/l/n", "of course blondie". We kissed once more before we got up for breakfast. We held hands while walking over for the dining table. We grabbed our food and as we walked to our table, Minho came running over screaming my name "YN" once he reached us he took a few deep breaths before saying "gally coming out of the pit in 5 minutes". I began to shake while saying "okay...", "bye shank good luck sorry I can't be here I need to go in the maze". I faked laugh and Minho ran off. I carried on shaking and newt realised and held my hand, whispering in my ear "I'm right here love, he can't hurt you", I took deep breathes and we headed over to our table.

We laughed together and chatted which got me off my mind about the whole gally situation until he walked into dining room screaming my name. I froze in shock and could only see newt getting up screaming at gally "stay the fuck away from her gally or I swear to god I will-." "You will what newt?". Thomas walked inbetween them both and said "he will kill you gally.. newt will kill you". Gally suddenly punched newt and newt fell flat on the floor. I shaked my head, getting myself unfrozen and ran to newt, tapping his neck, screaming his name. He was unconscious and bleeding from his nose. I could hear Thomas and gally fighting and everyone surrounded us, though I wasn't focus on that. I was focused on newt. Alby came running in and shouted "GALLY, PIT NOW". Gally was bleeding out of his nose and Thomas was fine. I carried newt and brought him to his hut, and grabbed a wet flannel and put it on his forehead. I put his head on my lap and stroked his hair. It felt like hours till he woke up but when he did he just began crying. He picked me up and put me on his lap and just cried on my chest. "It's okay baby, I'm okay, you're okay, we are okay" and whispered in his ears over and over again while messaging his shoulders. Once he finished crying, we laid down and we cuddled with each other. "I'm sorry I let gally come close to you my love, I tried" newt said to me with tears in his eyes, I kissed his neck gently while saying "I love you, and you did protect me newtie". I looked up and we kiss "I love you baby" he said before we fell asleep.
