HEER'S POV:

I woke up early as I had to talk to Ayaan about my university. Well, I don't care if he says yes or no to me going, but still, I should ask him. After all, I am his wife, I thought, rolling my eyes. I freshened up and went out to see Ayaan going into his room. He looked sweaty and red, looks like he went to the gym. Now that I see it, he does have a body. I haven't noticed it before because Mister doesn't leave a chance to get me angry.

"If you are done staring, go prepare the breakfast," here he goes again, I thought angrily.

"And why would I make breakfast for you, Mister, and by the way, I wasn't staring," I lied, looking

 away.

"Because you are a wife, is that not what a good wife does?" he said arrogantly, as I was on the verge of murdering him.

"I am your wife, not a goddamn maid, got it! You told me not to put those wife rights on you, so you should not have the audacity to put those husband rights on me," I shouted.

"Listen here, I didn't force you to marry me. You married me on your own choice, so deal with the consequences now," Ayaan said, coming closer.

"Neither did I force you. Why didn't you say no?" I said, pointing my finger at his rock-hard chest.

"Because I couldn't. I didn't have a choice," Ayaan said, as now I was cornered against the wall, but that didn't come to my mind in the heat of the moment.

"You think I did?" I said, matching his eyes. I saw something flash in his eyes before he turned around and walked away. The audacity of this man, ughhhh. You know what? I should not ask his permission and I will not, I thought as I returned to my room and changed into my clothes, getting ready for my med school. All this marriage and drama has really messed up my head. I need to get back on track.

I was ready as I went down, the cab would arrive any minute. I don't have time for breakfast, I thought as I ran into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. On my way out, I saw Ayaan on the table having his breakfast. He looked up and saw me and frowned.

"Why running away already? I thought it'll take you a month to go away, but you again exceeded my expectations," Ayaan said with a scoff.

"No, Mister, I'm not going to give up this easily. I'm just going to university, and if you could make breakfast, so why did you bother me?" I retorted.

"Who else is going to make your life miserable, Mrs. Shekhawat?" he said and smirked like a jerk. Ughhh, if I wasn't getting late, I would sure as hell say something, but right now, I ran outside to catch my cab. I was just a second earlier than my professor as I thank God took a seat. The professor left to take some notes as I heard someone call me.

"Hey Heer, how are you?" I looked beside me to see rohan sitting. I smiled; he was one of my only friends, maybe not as close as Anaya but still.

"Tired, and wait, I'm still not talking to you, how dare you miss my wedding?" I said as I crossed my arms.

Rohan released a chuckle as he turned towards me. "I'm sorry Heer, I know I promised, but Baba called me back to delhi as he had some work... come on, forgive me naaa," he replied, asking for forgiveness like a child, as a smile spread across my  lips.

"Ok ok fine, I think you would cry if I didn't accept your apology," you said, laughing.

"I would, and stop making fun of me," rohan said, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, you big baby... Oh, you know Anaya is back!" I said.

"Yeah, she messaged me last night, she's shifting here?" Rohan asked.
