Eventually ivan n iskender settle their mermaid battle n pansy n jim return with lips swollen n mysterious marks.
we r all drying off n warming up by the fire, huddled around.
"when are we going to start heading back?" iovanni asks. must be desperate to get back to his closet.
"what time is it?" draco asks.
"22:00" ivan supplies, checking his rustic pocket watch n shoving it back into his bag.
draco sighs. "its a bit too late to drive back, unless you all are up for a midnight road trip."
"im up for it!" iovanni quips.
"if you are up for it then im not." jim mumbles into his blunt.
"well its settled then." draco looks relieved.
"where r we going to sleep because im not sleeping on the sand." pansy checks her nails sassily.
"lets rave all night then." jim exhales a big cloud of smoke.
she gives him a look."i can never tell whether you are serious or not."
he shrugs. "all part of the charm."
"theres a town near by. about a ten minute walk. we can buy some tents or something there." draco lights a cigarette.
"why do you always know about these obscure little villages." i wonder aloud.
"all part of the charm."
"thats my thing" jim mutters.
"who will go?" ivan ponders.
pansy n i share a look. "yn n i will go."
"wuh?" jim gives us a dazed n confused look. "you crazy girls go wild." he approves.
"omg ya itll be so fun."
draco clears his throat n i shoot him a side long glance. he better not poop on my fckin party. "is it safe?"
pansy sends him a glare as well.
"i mean you guys are two young vulnerable, attractive girls. you dont know what men would do if they came across you in their paths." he sighs, shaking his head.
"omg party pooper." i jeer.
he points at his black eye. "do you not remember how i got this?"
i scoff n look off.
"omg wait yeah, we never asked." the rest of the gang chorus.
he shrugs cryptically.
pansy makes pouty lips at him "cmon dracoooo pleaseee. i swear i know how to fighttt."
"oh yeah," jim nods. "she doesnt play around." he shudders.
draco narrows his eyes but shrugs and we take it as a sign to run off.
i bring my camera. you never know what the universe holds in store.
we walk with a lantern illuminating our path. the waves crash and make loud ass noises.
we have been chatting abt the latest girl drama in the hufflepuff dorm where intense betrayal took place. for ppl who claim to be loyal, there isn't a lot of loyalty.
suddenly i get a weird feeling. i look around and look at pansy. "pansy, dont look back but i think we are being followed."
she gulps. "its fine," she whispers "prolly someone on the same path as us going to the village."
"yeah prolly" i mutter but feel a bit scared. if only perhaps we had dragged draco along with us.
i start to get rly scared after i keep feeling a pair of eyes on me. i look behind me and hold out a lantern but see no one. i must look as scared as i feel cuz then the figure approaches the light and i see that it is draco.
"FUCKING HELL" Pansy yells hitting his chest. "YOU SCARED US WE THOUGHT WE WERE GONNA DIE"
he holds her wrists so that she cant hit him anymore and rolls his eyes. "you thought i was gonna be alr with you two disappearing into the night with lord knows what out there."
"women need their independence," pansy scoffs breaking free from his grasp.
he lets us walk ahead while he walks quietly far behind us.
i kinda like this arrangement cuz i feel safer and i can also keep girl talking with pansy. we link arms and feel relief.
when we get to the village, we see a bunch of stores. we go into an open one since its late and not much is open.
we try on some sunglasses and take silly digital cam pics. draco walks around the village and doesnt go into the shops we do so that we can have freedom.
we decide to buy copious amounts of junk food, like trollis and mars bars.
"can i pay you back later," i ask her "i dont have my wallet."
"wait shit, i thought i could pay YOU back later."
we just hang there for a second in shock.
i have to run out of the store and find draco on a parkbench smoking.
"heyyyyyy," i look my best. "im so glad you cameee." he raises an eyebrow.
"what do you need, yn?"
"i uhm haha i kinda forgot my wallet and so did pansy."
he chuckles and reaches into his pocket for his wallet.
he hands it to me.
"actually can you cum heh" i sheepishly grin. "the cashier looked a bit mean."
he rolls his eyes and hands me the cigarette while he gathers himself. when we get back, pansy is all decked out in an assortment of hats and glasses and necklaces.
he pays for the food and the glasses and some matching necklaces. then he buys a few tents cuz lord knows we didn't buy any.
on the way back, we leave him to carry our stuff and we just run around n shi.
we traipse back and do a little haul for the boys when draco procures his own haul. he takes out a bag that i hadnt realized he'd been holding. "just some stuff we might need as the night progresses," he winks.
we all ooh and ahh at the selections from a liquor store. loove a man who provides the self destructive beverdges.
