Enji

Enji's getting annoyed. He and some other pros have been chasing Himiko Toga for the pass three hours ever since she was spotted in the city.

He never even wanted to be there, doing hero work was the last thing he wants to do today, but somehow Hawks was able to drag him out of his home.

No matter what they did, erase her quirk, stab her, burn her, she wouldn't stop running. Luckily, she ran into the Red Thorned Woods. The place where the old Todoroki home is. Enji was able to get the upper hand on her, but Hawks couldn't get into the forest because the trees were too thick for him the fly around, and he's a shit runner, something Enji tells him constantly. So, he's flying above the forest and finding Toga when she hides. She was talking to someone on the phone, but never said their name out loud, the call only lasted less than ten minutes before she put her phone away. The others are lagging behind, but Enji is right behind her, but he can't use my quirk so he must rely on the fact that he knows my way around.

Toga doesn't stop running in a different direction, but Enji assumes that the one she called is another villain coming to help her.

Enji notes that Toga doesn't seem to know where she is going, but she looks around frantically like she's trying to find something. But when Toga runs past the conspicuous red maple tree, she takes a sharp turn, suddenly knowing exactly where to go and she doesn't seem to be looking for anything. Enji tenses as he follows her without missing a beat. He's on guard for any villains to pop out to rescue Toga, but it never happens. It doesn't take long for Enji to figure out that Toga is running in the direction of the old home. Enji smirks and runs a different direction instead of following the straight path forward that Toga seems to be taking. He runs through the trees, noticing that he can see how far back the other heroes are from Toga. Lately, Enji's found himself becoming easily angered by anything, especially with the heroes. It had started ever since Touya's broadcast, every hero except Hawks and Best Jeanist, would treat him lesser than them. Eraserhead and Present Mic don't do anything, but they don't stop the ones who do either, but they are tolerable. But it's at times like this that they show who's really superior, not to mention the fact that he is one of the richest people in Japan and a few other countries but that's not the point. It only takes about five minutes for Enji to reach the old home, and he predicts about five more until Toga reaches the place as well. Enji stares longingly at the house. He's never returned after Touya's death, it held too many memories that he couldn't stand to see. But really, Enji didn't want to see them, not when the one who gave him all the memories had died because of him. He told no one, but the old home is where he spent the first few months with Touya when he was on paternal leave, and even when he wasn't. They would come back time to time on holidays or just to get a break from everything else. After Touya died, Enji opted to burn the place down, but he couldn't do it and just left it abandoned and forgotten.

Toga burst through the forest edge before any tears could fall. Enji quickly turned around and attacked the girl, who is already exhausted. She barely fought back, only sloppily throwing knives but they didn't even come close to him. Somehow, she managed to slip past him and ran into the house. The other heroes caught up, Kamui Woods is limping with Eraserhead by his side, and Hawks lands down next to Enji now that they stand in a clearing. Before Enji could say anything, Fat Gum, Mirko, Best Jeanist and Present Mic come running through the woods as well. Enji raises a brow and looks at Hawks angrily who just shrugs his shoulders. Enji groans, already angry with him doing all the work and Toga still getting away.

"She ran in the house. There may be more of us, but she is clever and when given the chance will escape. We have to be quiet and ambush her if we want to get her." Enji announces. Before he could walk off Mirko speaks up. "Oh please! She must be exhausted by now. I can go in there myself and get her easily." Mirko puffs out her chest and crosses her arms, looking at Enji mockingly. She already looked down on him for having an agency and the broadcast didn't help. She had many attempts to one up Enji whether it be in public or not, she always wanted to get the better of him.
