"So far, everything that man has said is true. Or at least that is what the tests show."

Enji sits and listens to recovery girl as she tells him the results of both his boy and Mutsuhito from the night before.

Enji has been in the hospital room all night, but it isn't anything the No. 1 couldn't handle. But he wasn't alone throughout the night, as when the doctors had taken Touya to do tests to make sure he was in a stable condition, Hawks stayed with him throughout the entire night. He had only left once or twice to grab food for the two of them. Hawks is still with him at the moment as well, listening to the results Recovery girl gives them.

"It wasn't easy finding out how Mutsuhito's quirk works exactly, but I was able to uncover the basics of it. In short, once used on another, his quirk will regress the receiver's body back to the day they were born, and from that day on, the receiver would age all over again. His quirk is just essentially just hitting the reset button on life itself."

Enji nods as he listens to every word that comes out of the old woman's mouth. This is his chance. Touya is a baby again, not only that but a newborn, and he'll age all over again. With this, Enji just can't screw up again, never again.

Keigo sits silently next to Enji on the hospital bed. Recovery girl said it was technically a restart, then why did she say 'body'? Did that include the mind as well? This isn't the answer he wants.

This isn't the answer he needs.

"Do you know if this quirk only affects him physically though?" Recovery girl and Enji seem taken aback by Keigo's question. The winged hero has been sitting quietly the entire time anyway, Enji was asking all the questions, but finally, he speaks up. Enji moves his stare from Keigo to Recovery girl, he's interest in the answer to this question as well. If Touya is still mentally himself, they'd take him away. Enji just can't have that, this is his one last chance.

Recovery girl furrows her eyebrows as she moves to sift through papers spread across her desk. She shakes her head seemingly confused. "Well, we don't know for sure, especially since Mutsuhito has never used his quirk before. But doctors have been monitoring the boy since he has arrived, and nothing is out of the ordinary." Recovery girl looks up from a document she holds in her hands, taking a long look at Enji before looking down at her papers and continuing. "But it's safe to say that your son, Endeavor, has been turn completely into a newborn. Both physically and mentally." Enji slumps his shoulders as he lets out a relieved breath of air, the tension leaving him. Keigo is the opposite, tensing up even more, his mind running around with even more questions than he had started with.

Then what's this thing he's feeling?

Why is he so uneasy near that baby?

Was he the problem rather than Dabi?

No.

Something is wrong and he knows it.

It's not him.

Recovery girl sets down the document in her hands then hops of her stool. "Well, that should be all from me. Eraserhead called saying he'll come in to update you on what is going to happen onwards." Recovery girl walks off, but just as she gets to the door, she pauses taking a look back at the two.

"But know, if there is anything, and I mean anything you have to ask me, then you know where to find me."

As the old woman says this, she seems to be looking straight at Keigo, something glinting in her eyes. It's too late before Recovery girl walks out of the room, leaving Keigo there with his mind running. Maybe he should tell her. But what would he tell her? About his unease that he can't shake off, or that he thinks she's wrong about Dabi's mind regressing along with his body.
