Voilet was dragged across the throne room floor and thrown at someone's feet. Lifting herself up, she looked into the face of the boy she met in the woods the night before. The same boy who kissed her in the soft moonlight and promised her a life of adventure and love. But the boy who stood before her now was a stranger, his eyes cold and calculated as he looked down at her. "You should have listened to me," he sneered, his voice dripping with venom. "I told you not to cross me." Voilet tried to speak, to plead with him, but he silenced her with a sharp kick to the ribs. Gasping for air, she curled into a ball on the ground, trying to protect herself from his wrath. But it was no use. He was too powerful, too cruel. And as he raised his hand to strike her again, she knew that her life would never be the same. She had trusted the wrong person, and now she would pay the price for her mistake.
