Dallas flew for hours, taking in the freedom she had been denied for so long. She flew over forests, mountains, and rivers, feeling the wind in her hair and the sun on her skin. She was finally free, but she knew that the lab coats would not give up on her so easily.

As the sun began to set, Dallas landed in a small town, her wings hidden and her form shifted to that of a human. She walked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the town, feeling like a stranger in her own body. She had missed out on so much in those 20 years, and she didn't know where to begin.

As she walked, she heard a commotion coming from a nearby alley. She cautiously approached and saw a group of humans harassing a young woman. Without thinking, Dallas stepped in, her hawk-like instincts taking over. She fought off the attackers with ease, her strength and speed surprising even herself.

The young woman thanked her and asked her name, to which Dallas simply replied, "Dallas." The woman looked at her with curiosity, but didn't press further. Dallas knew that she couldn't stay in one place for too long, so she quickly said her goodbyes and took off into the night sky.

As she flew, Dallas knew that she had a purpose now. She had been given a second chance at life, and she was going to use it to help others who were in need. She may not know who she really was, but she knew that she was a protector, a guardian, and a hero. And she was going to fly free, for as long as she could.
