Neteyam🎯

This is the best thing I have ever tasted. It seemed like I was knuckles deep into the Huli Huli Chicken, shoving more and more of it in my mouth. I realized I should be more clean and well-mannered until I saw my family acting the same way. Mother was clawing at the Lomi Lomi Salmon, Dad was shoving the Haupia down his throat, and my siblings were quietly fighting over their poke bowls. We ate silently; the only sounds were the restaurant's music and people's chatter.

I stopped and shot my head up, hearing small chuckles. Ao'nung's eyes were glued to me as he studied how I ate.

"I will have my eldest son Ao'nung send you the address of our home," Tonowari instructed his son, who willingly obliged, "Jake, what is your phone num-"

"Neteyam, what's your insta? I'll send you the address on there." Tonowari made a croaking sound with his throat when his son interrupted him. I looked up at my dad, seeing if he agreed, and watched as he nodded. I wiped my hands on the cloth and grabbed Ao'nung's phone. I typed in my username, "Nete.Sully" before hitting the follow button and returning the phone. I grabbed my phone and accepted the request.

My phone buzzed a few seconds later with a notification from "Ao'pow_"

I smile at the cringe name and sent a follow before turning my phone off. Dinner was done at this point and the only thing left was decided who should pay. My mother took out her card first, placing it on the table. Ronal declined, saying that since she hosted this, she should pay. Obviously, my mother did not agree to that and insisted that she paid.

This went on for 10 minutes straight, with neither of them backing down. The men just watched, glancing at each other and snickering before turning away when their wives caught them.
"Let's just split the bill.." My dad whispered to Tonowari and he nodded in agreement.

The poor waiter was standing in the middle of the two mom's, darting his worried face back and forth between them until, to his relief, Tonowari slipped him his and my dad's credit cards and told him to split it.

The waiter came back with the receipt and the looks on the mom's faces were priceless! Me and Lo'ak tried suppressing our laughs, as well as Ao'nung and Roxto while Kirina rolled her eyes. The two women began laughing along with their husbands after a while and we decided to leave.

We said our "see yous" and headed to the car where I put in the address of the Akana house into the car's gps.

It didn't take long to get there since the restaurant was pretty close by and I realized that they live next door. When we pulled into the driveway, our mouths hung open once again. Their house, no. Their MANSION was huge!! How did I not notice this? Its at least 3 stories and decorated with hundreds of glass windows. It was simply breathtaking.

We waiting in the car for the Akana family to pull up. That's when the massive garage opened, revealing several other cars. Lo'ak verbally gasp and swoons over how shiny they were. I jump as my window get's a tap and turn to see Ao'nung. He gestures for us to enter the house and we do what was told.

It was like we were walking into a museum. The inside was just as gorgeous, dare I say even more. My siblings and I watch in awe as Tonowari settles my parents in the kitchen for a drink. Tuk follows my mother as the rest of us stand in the incredibly large living room.

"Nungie, show them your room." Dr. Akana smiles at her son before moving into the kitchen to accompany her husband. I hear Lo'ak and Kirina giggle over the nickname. Ao'nung's face was calm though, it looked like the laughter to that nickname didn't affect him.

"My room's upstairs, follow me." He leads us up the large stairs, heading to the last door of the hallway. He opens the door and turns around to let us in first. Tsireya enters first with Lo'ak and Roxto following close behind her. Kirina reluctantly goes in before I step forward. I look up at Ao'nung before entering and he says nothing but smiles. All of his pearly white teeth showing. I return his smile and enter, feeling his body hovering behind me.

Hm. The Akana's auras are strange. The parents' are strong and compliment each other well, yet their children's are completely different from each other. Ao'nung's is strong like his parents but there's something weird about it; it keeps changing. Tsireya's is pure and bright. And Roxto...his I cannot tell. What I can tell is how the three Akana sibling's kept staring at one of us the whole night. If Roxto gives me one more sweet smile I'm gonna pull my hair out.

"Feel free to sit anywhere you want, just don't touch my surfboard please." That's real? I thought that was just decor. I swear Neteyam has mind reading powers because he knows everything we think.

"Do you surf?" He asks, looking up at Ao'nung as he sits on his bed.

"Yeah, sometimes." He's nervous. I can tell. His aura completely changed. It went from strong to soft with one response. Tsireya and Roxto shared looks before shaking their heads in unison.

"Sometimes? Yeah right. He can't go a day without surfing." Roxto chuckles and playfully punches Ao'nung on the arm, but Ao'nung doesn't react. All he does is look at my older brother. Hm.
