July 17th, 2022...
It was around 13:20 and Elly was still sleeping in the bed, under the blankets while hugging the pillow. That was until someone tried to wake her up by shaking her. "Hey, wake up." It was Tamara. She was standing above Elly and she kept shaking her, but she didn't wake up. "Elly come one, wake up!" Tamara yelled in a grumpy way as she continued to shake her, not giving up. She shaked her one last time and this time she did wake up. Elly woke up gasping for air because of a nightmare she had. She looked around her and remembered everything that had happened and why she was here. "Good, you're awake. We need to get the guns." Tamara said while Elly sat up in the bed and rubbed her eyes. "How late is it?" She asked, yawning.
"It's 13:22." Tamara said while taking a bat from next to her desk and gave it to Elly. "This is the only weapon i allow you to use." She said. Elly put on her heels, they were the only shoes she had right now because her other shoes were at her house. She stood up and walked out of the cabin with Tamara. "It's so cold...it's like 10 degrees while it's summer..." Elly said while rubbing her hands against her skin to keep herself warm. Tamara looked around her to see if there were any signs of danger, and when she saw it was safe, they both walked to her car and got inside. Obviously, Tamara was going to drive. She was about to start the car, until she got a message from someone. She grabbed her phone from her pocket and saw it was her sister, Victoria Jones. "Thank god she's alive." She whispered to herself which confused Elly who was sitting next to her. She opened the message and read it.
"Hey Tamar. I'm still alive, luckily, i hope you are well and safe aswell. Do you remember that hotel that i used to own? the one that was empty for a while? you can go there, it is safe. Atleast, safer than a regular house. I hope i'll see you again." The message said.
Tamara sighed in a relieved way with a bright smile on her face. "After we took the guns, we'll be going to a hotel, alright?" Tamara said but Elly didn't seem to understand it at all. Tamara started the car and drove towards the police department, away from the cabin. While driving, the road looked calm and the sky looked beautiful. Elly looked at it and smiled. "I remember looking at the sky with my mother every week." She said, starting a conversation. Tamara turned her head to Elly for a few seconds and then focused on the road again. "What happened to your mother?" She asked and Elly's smile faded. "When i was 12 she killed herself. My father always blamed me for it." Elly said which made Tamara feel very bad for her. She sighed. "I'm sorry for you. You know, sometimes life is just a big question mark. A big mystery. I mean, why do we go through so much just to get stronger, but at the end it doesn't even matter because you'll just die." Tamara explained and Elly nodded.
"You're smart." She said which put a smile on Tamara's face. "Thank you." She said. After a few minutes, they arrived at the police department and they got out of the car, Tamara with a gun and Elly holding a bat. They carefully walked into the building and luckily they didn't get attacked by anything. "We need to go to the police weapons storage room." Tamara said while walking through the building, Elly following her. When they arrived in the storage room, she grabbed a key out of her pocket and opened the closet full of weapons. "Holy shit!" Elly said in an excited way. "You're not going to touch any of them, do you understand?" Tamara said in a clear tone and Elly nodded. Tamara looked around the room and saw three big fabric bags laying on the floor with a police logo on them, ones that you could carry on your back. That was a good timing because they really needed bags right now to take the weapons with them.
Tamara grabbed the bags and toom the weapons off of the walls in the closet. Big guns such as shot guns, smaller guns and enough bullets. They had about six big guns and ten small guns. That should be enough, right? She opened the bags and put the guns and bullets inside. Luckily because there were only two people to carry the bags, she only needed two bags. She groaned while lifting one of the bags and put it on her back. "It's going to be heavy, but you need to carry one too." She said while giving Elly the second bag. Elly took the bag and put it on her back, almost falling over. "Holy shit, why is it so heavy!?" She said in a shocked tone, Tamara chuckled a bit. "Ahh come on, 10 kilograms isn't that much." She said.
"For me it is!" Elly said in an annoyed way while they walked out of the storage room with the bags on their backs. They walked out of the police department and walked back to the car. Tamara opened the car trunk and took off the bag off of her back and put it in the trunk, Elly doing the same thing. "We're going to the hotel that my sister used to own. It's empty and more safe there." Tamara said while they both got into the car with the doors closed. She started the car, and drove away from the police department. "What's your sisters name?" Elly asked. "Victoria. I'm quite sure she is at the hotel aswell." Tamara answered and Elly nodded. She looked out of the window in a sad way and sighed. She was thinking about her friends, Amy and Amelia. Were they still alive? were they safe?
"I'm worried about Amelia and my other friend Amy. I can't even contact them anymore because i lost my phone back in my house yesterday." She said quietly, not making eye contact with Tamara. Tamara looked at her for a few seconds. "I can call them if you want? if we arrived at the hotel." She said which made Elly feel a bit better. She turned her head away from the window and looked at Tamara. "Thanks." She said. After about an half hour, they arrived at the hotel. They got out of the car and took the guns with them, and walked towards the hotel. It was a huge hotel with even an pool, even though the pool water wasn't clean anymore. "Woah." Elly said in a shocked way, almost not believing Tamara's sister used to own an hotel like this. "It's big, right?" Tamara asked and Elly nodded. The second thing they noticed was that the entrance was blocked by wooden planks. Tamara sighed.
"What do we do now?" Elly asked while Tamara walked closer to the entrance. She started to kick the doors as hard as possible many times, about seven times, until the wooden planks broke and fell on the ground, torn into pieces. Elly looked at her in shock. Tamara opened the doors of the hotel and they both walked inside. The inside of the hotel looked amazing and huge, but it looked dirty. They dropped the bags of guns on the floor and the first thing Tamara thought about was taking a key from the reception for the bedrooms. How else were they going to enter? "Alright, i got a key for the bedroom. It's room 103, it's on the first floor." Tamara said as she threw the key at Elly. Elly catched it. "I'm going to grab my phone out of the car. I'll be right back." Tamara said. She walked out of the hotel, towards her car. When she arrived at her car, she opened one of the doors and started searching for her phone. What she didn't notice was that something was standing behind her. It was one of those creatures, and Elly did notice.
She looked at the creature behind Tamara in fear. "TAMARA, WATCH OUT!"
