Venus joined for the rest of the tour, but slipped away to the lobby to let Angel know that she would be heading out soon. Though, before she could get more than two words out, a loud thud shook the entirety of the hotel.

“Mimzy! We know you're in there you lousy bitch!” An angry voice yelled.

“Oh shit.” Mimzy squeaked.

Fire burned in Venus's eyes as a portal appeared and out stepped Lucifer, Charlie, and Vaggie. Another thud shook the hotel.

“Que Carajo!?” Vaggie hissed, visibly becoming frustrated.

“What's going on!?” Charlie asked, panicked, looking to Venus who was probably the angriest looking of them all.

“I maaaaaaay be in some trouble with some loan sharks. I may or may not have borrowed fifty grand from —” there was yet another loud thud. “—Eep!” Mimzy cowered behind the bar counter and peeked up at Charlie and Vaggie.

“You better come out!”

“And I may have also stolen a car. . . And crashed it. . . Into the loan shark's girlfriend, but the bitch had it coming!”

Venus's voice came out distorted with a certain raspiness gnawing at the edge. “Give me one good reason to not hand her over to them.”

Her tone of voice seemingly shocked those who had known her for the past week, only seeing her smiling or mildly frustrated at something. This. . . This was new.

And slightly terrifying.

From there, everything went. . . Well. . . Right to hell. A lot of fire. A lot of screaming. Though, Venus couldn't hear much over the sound of her own heart beating in her ears as she shielded the residents who clearly hadn't fought since they could hold a wooden sword.

While Alastor had a lot of them handled, a few stragglers still tried their damnedest to cause issues. Though soon, the madness quit around her.

The ones that Alastor hadn't gotten to, she had. Heads severed with her bare hands before they could even get to her. Some twisted part of her enjoyed the feeling of having the ability to take their lives or grant mercy.

She didn't even realize she was in the air until her feet hit the ground and the familiar feeling of her midnight wings disappearing into her back sent a shiver down her spine.

“Venus?” Charlie's voice cut through the ear ringing silence.

She slumped but didn't turn to face the small group that had accumulated behind her. Her heart clenched at the thought of the looks she was getting.

Venus brought her hands into her field of vision and for the first time, she felt true disgust at her actions.

“Oh, I missed getting to let off steam.” Alastor's altered voice was more cheery than usual as he approached the hotel once more.

“Oh, Alastor! What a fantastic show! Bravo! As always. Thanks for helping lil' old me out of a tougher spot, you're always such a pal! Little miss crazy over there wasn't so bad either!” Mimzy's voice grew closer.

A hand on Venus's shoulder made her flinch in surprise. What came more of a shock was that it was Vaggie and not Charlie or Angel.

“Hey, Venus, you did it for the hotel. To protect your friends.” Vaggie said softly, guiding the Asgardian Princess towards the lobby where Charlie and Lucifer were already headed.

“I did it to protect my friends.” Venus mumbled over and over as she finally walked up the stairs herself. She'd be fine soon, hopefully.

When she reached her room and entered the bathroom, she was pleased to find that only her hands were bloody. At least she hadn't gone as far as last time. . . She cleaned the blood off of her hands and fixed her hair, since it had gotten messed up while she was livid.
