"It's a very bad decision!", no, it isn't. She has taken even more worse decisions in her life, this was nothing compared to them.

"It's final! In order to keep my mind sane, I'll have to clear this confusion. Don't you want me to concentrate on you and only you in your wedding?", her bestfriend sighed in defeat knowing well no-one could make her turn back onto her decision and nodding.
"For that, I'll have to ask him directly. Can't go with this no talking terms anymore. And on top of that I have to thank him too! He has always been there for me...", it was a truth. No matter the situation, or for how long they have known each other, they didn't feel like strangers, it was as if they had known for a very long time and this unknown connection just made her feel safe around him, or may be it's his acts that's binding them together.

She definitely hates palaces now... After being lost on her way for god knows how many times, she definitely loves her home better than this place, a simple 2 story mansion with one door which acts as a entrance and exit.

How she wished him to be here to guide her, like he always did.

What she didn't wish was to find him with some 'girl', specially a clingy girl who couldn't keep her hands to herself. They stood in the backyard of the palace while she looked at them from a window above. Her eyes widened when she saw him willingly hugging her while the girl, what looked like, said goodbye to him.

Running fast past the wast corridors, she somehow managed to reach the ground floor and into the garden, looking like an angry bird. If you look close you would even see smoke coming out of her eyes and her eyes deep red with a scowl enhancing her face. Taking long strides she reached to centre of the backyard where she saw them standing but found no-one, which didn't help with her anger whatsoever.

Why was she feeling these emotions were a mystery even to her.

The wedding rituals began today, starting off with mehndi, then sangeet tomorrow night and haldi in the morning on the wedding day and then marriage itself.
Simple, right?
As if, it was easier said than done.
Marriages were incomplete without chaos and problems.
And here it is, the beginning of the chaos.

There was a misunderstanding with the rooms and stuff. Apparently there was another wedding which had just finished yesterday and they too had a room filled with ritual stuff just a floor below. And by mistake the palace staff got confused with the floor number and had packed and moved Arushi's wedding stuff thinking of as the other wedding's stuff and no-one even noticed.
Everything and everyone was just a mess since they discovered this in the morning.

Nurvi looks around the halls where all the family members and relatives were present. Some relatives were whispering among each other in hush voices and she knew they were bitching about the whole situation, while the elder male of the family were taking their anger out on the palace staff and then it was bestfriend silently weeping with her head on her fiance's shoulder. Atleast she was not handling it alone. She had someone to look after while Nurvi looked after this mess. She would not allow anyone to create problems in her bestfriend's wedding, on such a special occasion.

Taking a deep breath, she stood in the middle of the hall gathering everyone's attention," Okay everyone, I know everything is a mess right now, but...", she looked at Arushi's father who was constantly scolding the palace manager, "Uncle playing blame game right now would not work. We cannot sit here and think about all the bad that has already happen, we need to come up with a solution. And Aru", she moved towards her bestfriend, placing a comforting arm over her shoulder from the other side form Aditya and gave them a little squeeze,"I promise to make everything back to how you wanted it to be. And you know, in the future, when you would be living a happily married life with you husband and your children, one day this could turn into a funny little story about your wedding which you can narrate to your kids and then laugh about it a lot. Just trust me.", and she did. Arushi trusted her, to her life. If she was saying she would make everything right, then that would surely happen. Everyone, in the room, knew it.

"So, we have the mehendi ceremony starting in 2 hours but we still don't have any outfits. We can somehow manage the heena, but we need to adjust a bit with the dresses. Aru, you packed the sage green salwar suit, just in case you wanted to change into something lighter after the mehendi, right?", earning a positive nod from her, "Great. Wear that and wait for me in your room, I'll get the rest of the stuff. And we'll Aditya doesn't really need to co-ordinate right now, but yeah wear something if you have. And Mr. Mittal, please ask your staff to finish the decorations quickly and arrange for the heena somehow and I'm gonna look at other things.", her rumble came to an halt as she felt a palm over her hand, and turned around to see Arushi's dad standing with a look of appreciation.

Everyone dispersed in their room to get ready while she went along with the manager discussing about the possible plans.
"Is there any market or some-some mall kinda thing nearby??", she asked the female staff knowing well they would have known this city by heart and got some positive response.
"That was impressive earlier.", her fingers stopped typing over her phone as she searched the nearest market she could buy things from when she heard him from beside her.
"I know.", blunt and short.
She was annoyed, but not by what she had seen yesterday but the fact that why him being with a girl affected her so much. While he seemed to sense something wrong with her behaviour.

Don't look at him, or your anger will fade away.
Don't talk to him, and reply in short answers if he tries to talk.
That was her plan.
Simple.

As if.
