Aura's P.O.V

In no time, I slip into the clothes Sunghoon selected-a cozy dark blue sweater adorned with white and lighter blue stripes, paired with crisp white pants. Despite the slight bagginess, the outfit feels surprisingly comfortable, a testament to Sunghoon's impeccable taste.

As I adjust to the feel of the fabric against my skin, a sense of familiarity washes over me, mingling with the faint scent of Sunghoon that clings to the clothes. It's a subtle reminder of his presence, a comforting embrace that soothes my nerves and fills me with a sense of warmth. With a contented sigh, I revel in the sensation, grateful for the opportunity to wear something that reminds me of him.

As I make my way to the living area, a smile tugs at the corners of my lips, eager to spend more time in Sunghoon's and Heeseung's company, plus whoever else decided to come along.

My heart skips a beat as I step into the living area, my eyes widening in disbelief at the unexpected scene unfolding before me. Despite the comforting sight of Sunghoon seated in the lone chair, a sense of unease settles over me like a heavy fog.

There, on the couch, sits Jay of all people, his presence sending a jolt of apprehension coursing through me at the memory of our encounter earlier. His scowl cuts through the air like a sharp blade, his disapproving gaze fixed on me with unsettling intensity. I swallow hard, the weight of his silent judgment bearing down on me like a suffocating blanket. Beside him, Heeseung and Jake exude warmth and hospitality, their smiles a stark contrast to Jay's icy demeanor.

Sunghoon's eyes light up as I enter the room. He stands from his chair and walks over to me, his gaze falling on my outfit. A wave of relief washes over me when he nods in approval. "You ready?" he asks. I give a soft nod in response, and he gestures to the others in the room. "Jake and Jay will be joining us; they have plans in the city as well," he informs me. I nod again, deliberately avoiding Jay's gaze, the last thing I want is to spend more time with him right now. Although Sunghoon is unaware of our earlier encounter, I have a feeling Jay wouldn't be here if he knew.

"What about the others?" I finally speak up, seeing that Sunoo, Niki, and Jungwon weren't around.

"Sunoo and Niki are out in the woods hunting, and we're not sure where Jungwon is," he tells me, and I nod in response, I wonder if Jungwon's disappearance had to do with whatever he saw in my dream, but I decide not to worry about it sense the others didn't seem to be concerned about his absence.

I give a soft response, "Okay, well I'm ready when you guys are," causing everyone to stand up from their positions. However, my anxiety spikes as Jay strolls towards me, his piercing gaze sweeping over my figure from head to toe before he smirks.

"Forgetting something?" He utters in a degrading and unsympathetic tone. At first, his words baffle me until my eyes drift downwards, and my face flushes with embarrassment. I had completely forgotten to wear shoes!

Sunghoon's protective arm swiftly envelops my shoulder, his gaze sharp as he confronts Jay's insolence. Leading me towards a chair, he gestures for me to sit, offering a reassuring rub on my shoulder that soothes my embarrassment. "I'll go fetch you some shoes, alright?" His words carry a gentle assurance, to which I nod gratefully. With Sunghoon's departure, Heeseung takes a seat opposite me on the couch, his presence a comforting reassurance amidst the awkward situation.

"Don't worry about it, honestly, the three of us didn't even realize," Heeseung jests with a light chuckle, eliciting a small smile from me in response.

"Thank you," I murmur softly, appreciating his effort to lighten the mood. As I glance back at Jay, I catch sight of his impatient scowl, a stark contrast to Heeseung's amiable demeanor. Shifting my gaze towards Jake, whom I haven't engaged with much, I find solace in his seemingly kind presence amidst the tension.
