The plan for today was straightforward: eliminate the two remaining members of the enigmatic Q organization and assist your three students with their mission.
The Q, a secretive group of curse users, had been attempting to destabilize the modern jujutsu world by pushing Master Tengen into a state of madness. For years, they had remained elusive, and though they were believed to have been wiped out, recent intelligence revealed that two of them had survived, still a threat to the world's fragile balance.
Your mastery of the forced manipulation technique made you the perfect candidate for this task. This technique, capable of crushing targets with an invisible force over long distances, was not only deadly but also efficient, a tool that would allow you to eliminate the targets without ever having to get close. However, it required specific conditions: a high vantage point like a shrine, the target's name, and a human sacrifice to seal the process.
As you arrived at the designated shrine, you took a moment to observe the surroundings. The air was thick with the scent of incense, the serene stillness of the place offering a stark contrast to the grim task ahead. Two blindfolded men knelt before you, unaware of their fate, their breaths shallow in quiet anticipation.
"They're clueless," you muttered under your breath, your mind already calculating the precise steps necessary to complete the task. You didn't need to feel the weight of their lives; you had long since learned to shut off the emotions that came with it. This was business—nothing more, nothing less.
Without hesitation, you approached the first man. His posture was stiff, his head slightly tilted as if awaiting instruction. You leaned in close, your voice a soft whisper, but enough to reach him clearly.
"Say 'Keiji Kokun'," you commanded, the words crisp and deliberate.
His blindfolded face twitched in confusion for a second, but he complied, speaking the name without hesitation. The man had no idea he was sealing his own fate by speaking it.
The technique activated almost immediately. You didn't need to see it to know it was done—his body collapsed in on itself, crushed by an invisible force. You didn't flinch; this was the result you expected. There was no time for hesitation.
"One down," you thought, the voice in your head cold and distant. You didn't linger. You turned to the second man.
His breath quickened. His unease was palpable now, but you could already see the fatal flaw in his posture—he was about to give in to fear. You had no time for hesitation.
"Say 'Keiji Kokun'," you repeated, your tone unchanged.
This time, the man's lips trembled slightly, as if he wanted to resist. But fear won out, and he muttered the name.
As the words left his lips, your technique activated again with deadly precision. He followed the same grim path as his comrade.
Another life extinguished without a sound.
