- [ ] Bungee Jumping off the top of the Tokyo Tower

The next morning we all met at the field that we were at when we got here yesterday. Impulse, Grian, Xisuma and I all had a hoodie in our favorite color with three slashes on the arm with the other shirt's colors. We got them all specially made for this. Impulse paid for them and we wore them today to say that, yes, we were a team, but we were also best friends.

"At the airhorn, you will run to the other end of this field and to the silver box and you will get your first clue." We all got into position. "Whichever one of your teammates get to the clue first can get their clue but you have to wait for your other teammates to get to you first." Impulse looked at me. "I may take a bit. I'm not exactly the fastest." I nodded. "I'll stay beside you." Grian replied. "I'll get to the clue first." I said. "Xisuma didn't say anything, but he breathed in deeply. He was ready.

"3.. 2.. 1.. go!" The airhorn sounded and we took off, me ahead of most of the other contestants. A couple had tried to trip me, but I was anticipating that and missed every single one. I got to the clue first out of anyone else, Xisuma quickly on my tail. We moved away a bit to make way for others.

Soon, Impulse and Grian got to us and I gave the clue to Grian to read out. "It says 'where in the world has one of the highest towers that you can go outside on?' What the heck?" "Tokyo Tower." I automatically said. The other three started at me. "What? I've been up on that tower before."

Impulse nodded. "So we go to Tokeo then." Grian breathed in deeply. "To the airport!" He screamed. We laughed. It took us about twenty minutes to get to the airport and only once we were sitting at the gate, did we all take a deep breath. "Wow. I don't do cardio, jeez!" Xisuma said, taking deep breaths. I laughed. "I'm pretty used to it." Xisuma, Impulse and Grian stared at me. "What?! Did you all forget I'm a military veteran? When you are in the military, you quickly learn these things." I laughed, rolling my eyes. "I also might have undiagnosed ADHD."

We were able to get a plane leaving in 45 minutes. The only issue? Two of us would be seperated. Grian and I chose to sit next to each other. Mainly for us to get to know each other better. Once we sat down in our seats and buckled ourselves in, the blond turned to me. "You have a dog, right?" I nodded. "Yeah. I have a border collie/blue healer/australian cattle dog mix. Remi is her name." I replied. "Two cats. Pearl and Maui. Pearl is a girl." I nodded and soon, the plane shot down the runway and we took to the skies.

Tokyo was calling. I could only hope that is right where we needed to go.

By the time we all got our bags and got into an Uber, Impulse was still shaking. "I am so glad X let me have the isle seat." "I get motion sick if I can't see out, or if I'm in the isle." He replied. "I made Wels have the window too," Grian laughed.

"Where are ya headin?" And old guy who didn't look Japanese asked once we all got into the uber. "Tokyo Tower." Grian replied. Impulse have him the clue to see. The guy nodded and we were off. The drive was only twenty minutes, but it felt like forever. Finally we got to the base and there was a familiar box. "Look. The next clue." X said and ran over. "Spot on Wels," Impulse applauded.

Xisums ripped the clue open. And he broke out in a smile. "Eliminate one from your team to bungee jump." X looked expectantly at us and clapsed his hands together. "You know I'm out. I hate hights remember." "So then X can do it. Looks like he wants to." I laughed. He nodded vigorously.

We all headed up and there was a woman and a man standing there and we ran over and handed them the clue. The woman nodded. Xisuma got all the ropes on. "So not a challenge for me. I love bungee jumping." I saw Impulse shiver out of the corner of my eye. "Good luck and don't die." Grian said. "Yeah. We kind of still need you on the server, X." I laughed.

He jumped off the railing.

By 2pm, we had done about three other challenges. X had been the first with the bungee jumping. Then Grian did some lion taming, and I went and did an escape room. By myself. In the complete darkness. The next task we needed to do was all Impulse's. he was the only one of us that hadn't done anything yet. Kinda letting us all down to be honest.

Grian opened the next clue.

"With a writing implement, you must go to Kobe where earthquakes are frequent to write a language that is often not used, go to a place of search and rescue." I didn't know what this one was. I had been solving these clues so fast, but this one, I had no clue. Grian spoke up again. "It must be Kanji. It's Japanese. And Kobe is a high earthquake zone." We got back to the road from the escape room dungeon and quickly discovered that the uber had stayed for us for all these challenges. I would give him some money for all this. Cause that's what a noble knight would do.

"Can you take us to Kobe Japan." X asked him. On our drives, he mentioned that his name was Satori Sakashi but preferred Kashi. We told him about our YouTube jobs and he seemed excited about it. He also seemed to know who we were. And also that his kid was a huge fan of mine to which the other three snickered at my stuttering.

By the time we got to Kobe, the sun was almost to the horrizon. "Must be the last challenge before the leg of the race is done." Impulse commented.

We got to the firestation and there was a man standing there. "Welcome. There is a big piece of paper on the ground. One of you must learn Kanji. And if it's right, you will get your last clue." The man spoke. We all looked at Impulse. "You are the only one that has yet to do a challenge. Have at it." Grian replied. The brunette nodded and took a big paintbrush and a carton of ink.

"Copy this sentence." The man said. He nodded and got to work. By this time, the sun was almost down and a few other teams had joined us. Impulse was taking forecer. "Come on Impulse. You got this." Grian nodded. "You understand redstone. You've created so many things in minecraft that I didn't even know was possible. You can do this." The brunette took a deep breath. And nodded. Within a few more minutes, he had the entire sentence done and he showed it to the guy. He nodded and Impulse jumped up. "Yes!" He was handed the final clue for tonight.

"A feild of flowers of all sorts marks the end of this part of the course." He read out. "I saw a field of flowers back in Okayama on the way over here. Only a city back." Informed Xisuma.

"Well then, let's go. " i replied. Our driver was definately more than happy to drive us. And I had handed him 100$. "Because your amazing." He nodded and by the time we got there two teams had joined us from the Kanji challenge. Myself and one of the other boys from one of the other teams booked it as soon as we got out of our car. I ended up being tripped at the last minute. As I fell, the other two teams raced past me. I got up just as Grian past me and X was right beside me. This time, Impulse managed to keep up.

We hit the carpet and breathed hard. "Welcome to the end of the first leg of the race. You came in third place. Tomorrow morning when you check out, you'll be handed your next clue." I nodded. I turned to the other three. "We would have came in first had that guy not tripped me." The team on question was standing nearby and had heard. "Ha. Suck it." I glared. "Hold me back." The three laughed.

"I swear. If there is a challenge to rap againced a team, I would definately win." "Alright prince of rap. Time to relax until tomorrow." We headed to our hotel and ate some late dinner and just spent most of the night just talking about random things until we all got tired. And, one by one, we all fell asleep in the same bed in a messed up tangle.
