Hakeem POV

"Get the fuck off her!" I shouted.

"Stay the hell out of this man,you got no right!" Ben shouted back.

I did the only thing I could think of,I kicked him. Ben instantly dropped leaving Camri on the floor. Her mouth was lopsided and her chest wasn't moving.

"Camri!" I shouted running to her body. She laid there stiffly.

"Fuck this,don't need this shit from you idiots." With that Ben ran upstairs.

"Call the ambulance!" I told Heaven. She obeyed and dialled quickly. Ben must have left because I heard the door close and a car speed off.

Camri POV

I stared at the tv screen shocked.

Ben knew.

Ben was very dominant. The next thing I knew he flung at my neck and soon my surroundings disappeared and a black background came before me.

I had passed out.

Hakeem's POV

"How is she?" I asked the nurse for the 50th time.

"She still recovering" she replied.

I rolled my eyes,that had been her same answer for over half of the 6 hours we had spent in the hospital.

I sat down next to Heaven.

"You kissed her?" She whispered softly enough for me to hear.

"Yes",I replied. "But it was for a good cause" I added.

"Which was?" She said bluntly.

"To protect her...babe I'm sorry..." I told her pleadingly. "I swear it will never happen again"

She nodded curtly before gazing at some artwork on the wall. I squeezed her hand but she only ignored me.

Camri's POV

I opened my eyes and found my self in a hospital room. My neck was sore but besides that I was fine.

"Delightful!" The doctor said. He looked in his late thirties and had a smile that looked forced. "You're doing fine,at this rate you could be home tomorrow!"

I nodded,not knowing what to say.

Several minutes later Hakeem, Heaven and Veah walked in.

Hakeem stood by my side and looked at my face."You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah"

"Ben left,didn't he?" I asked. Hakeem nodded and gave me a reassuring hand squeeze.

"Babe, I'm thirsty. Get me a drink" Heaven all but commanded at Hakeem.

What was up her corduroys?

Once Hakeem had left, she made her way to the side of the bed with Veah distracted by the bed covers.

"Listen and damn right listen well hoe. He is mine. Stay the fuck away." She shouted.

I looked at her for a split second. Hakeem likes this annoying bitch?

"Do I even want him?" I retorted. "If he liked you so much then why fid he kiss me?" I said.

In a brief move of action she slapped me.

Just as Hakeem walked through the door.
