Chapter 18

Hakeem POV

"Woods?" The doctor called out.

"Yes ...yes! Thats me! How is she doc? I exclaimed.

"She just came out of a Coma, but she's doing good now. She requests a Hakeem. I'm guessing you're him?" The doctor asked.

"Yes thats me! Can I see her?" I asked.

"Sure. Room 623." He said.

I immediately walked to Camri's room. Once I got there, I walked in and saw her laying down in the hospital bed sleeping. I'll just wait til she wakes up. I gently kissed her forehead and and smiled.

"I love you Cam Cam."

I then walked out the room and called Mama Woods.

"Hello?" Ms.Woods said.

"Mama Woods... I have some bad news." I said.

"What? Is it Camri?" She asked beginning to sound worried.

"Yes. Actually, she's in the hospital. She was in a coma for a couple of 

hours, but now she's up and fine." I said.

"Well was is she in the hospital?" She asked.

"That's why I'm trying to figure out. I found her unconscious in the dance studio." I replied.

"Do you think I should come out there?" She asked.

"After I talk to the doctor, I'll call you back and let you know." I responded.

"Okay baby, you be safe now. Please watch over her, Hakeem." Mama said.

"Okay, Love you Mama." i said.

"Love you too baby." She said before hanging up.

I then decided to check up on Camri again. This time when I walked in, her eyes were open. I knocked on the door to get her attention. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey.. " She said.

"Hey, how you feeling? " I asked sittng next to her.

"I'm okay ...thanks to you." She replied smiling again.

"Why do you keep smiling? You're sitting in a hospital bed. You were near death." I asked.

"You saved my life. If it wasn't for you, I would be dead right now. How can I not smile? I'm sitting next to my guardian angel." She said.

I smiled. "So, do you remember anything?" I asked.

"Well, I called Keisha and she told me to go the studio to meet Kiana, so I did. But, when I got there, Ben was there. Next thing I know i was feeling weird and then I passed out." She explained.

"I'm going to kill his ass!" I yelled in frustration.

Camri sat up and made me face her.

"Don't. I just want to be happy... with you." She said leaning forward.

Of course I leaned in too. We both were slowly leaning our heads towards eachother. Our noses were almost touching when we were interrupted.

"Ahh, Ms.Woods, good news. We figured out what caused you to go unconscious." The Doctor said.

"What? " I asked.

"Ecstasy was found in her system, which isn't a bad drug. But, Camri is allergic to it. Thankfully we were able to get it out her system in time." The doctor explained.

"So when will I be released? " Camri asked.

"Tomorrow morning. We have a few prescriptions for you. But besides that, you should be fine. " He said.

"Thanks doc. " i said.

"No problem" He said walking out.

As far as the medical parts, I dont know anything about that. I made it up.
