Nervousness zips up and down my spine as I stare in to his big red eyes. He must not remember me at all which I suppose is a good thing. I try to keep my composure as best I can and introduce myself "Hello, my name is Grace".

Alastor looks me up and down and asks "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Grace but, I can't help but think we've met before".

Shit. I don't want him to remember me as the pathetic girl he left in the alley way.  My mind completely blanks on what to say back but, then I get the idea to fuck with him a bit. I just smile and say "No, I don't think so. I don't even know who you are".

My response surprises him and he says "Oh sweetheart you must be new to Hell, I'm an overlord. The radio demon should ring a bell".

I pretend to think for a moment and shake my head "No I don't think I've heard of you, which is weird because I've been here for almost a hundred years".

I can tell Alastor's getting annoyed which makes me so unbelievably happy. He scoffs "You've been in Hell for a hundred years and you have no idea who I am"?

I have to really focus to keep myself from laughing at this point because his God complex has gotten so much worse over the years. I answer "Yeah I've never heard of you before. I've heard of other overlords like the Vees but, not you".

I can almost feel the anger boiling under his skin but, he just turns his attention to Charlie. He asks "Charlie dear, why is this ludicrous girl even here"?

Charlie answers him "Grace is a fallen angel from heaven, she literally inspired this hotel. I thought she could bless us with her wisdom to help this place work".

My face gets red because I don't really have any "wisdom" for this place. But then Alastor whips around and asks "YOUR the oblivious angel who fell from heaven because she fell in love"?

I don't give him an answer, I just look away which gives the truth away. He laughs and says to Charlie "I don't think miss lover girl can help us much with this hotel, darling".

Now it's my turn for my blood to boil. I exclaim "Listen dearly, I'm a heaven born guardian angel, trust me, you don't want to fuck with me".

Alastor just scoffs in my face and says "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots darling". Then he turns around and laughs.

My heart starts the race with rage. I say "Oh you don't believe me? I have the power to find out everything about your living life and expose you to everyone".

Alastor just laughs again and says "Oh, how do you plan on getting that information? Anyways I've been evil to the core my whole life, you won't find much dear".

I laugh his lie and I say "Darling the only reason you're evil is because your dear mother got shot in the face". As soon as the word leave my lips I wish I could take them back.

Alastor immediately takes his more demonic form and says in a static like voice "Don't you dare speak of my mother in such a tone". Then his tentacles try to capture me but, they can't. Every time they touch me, they go limp. I knew me and Alastor were connected but I didn't think it was this powerful.

Alastor is beyond confused by this but he keeps trying. I could let him keep trying but I think it would be better to teach this demon a lesson. I summon my own white tentacles and they grab on to him. I can sense his panic as I hurl him in to a wall.

I walk towards him as he lies there in pain, it almosts reminds me of the day he left me in the alleyway. But as I get close he looks up at me with pure fear. This look automatically takes me back to the first time I laid eyes on him and it fills me with guilt. Charlie ushers me away and takes me in to a separate room.
