[Ch 4.3] Storytelling and Gloves

"Alright, I think that's all for today" I announced to kids currently on the ground

"Thank you sensei"" they tiredly say at the same time

"Man, I'm beat..."
"Sensei, that was too harsh..."
"Can't you be more gentle to a girl?!?"
Kenya, Gale and Alice complained

Hearing their complain, I can't help but smile "Come on now, compared to my own training, I don't think that was too hard"

""It was!!""

Kenya quickly sat upright and asked "besides, how's your own training even look like?"

"hm, I guess it's time for story time" I began narrating

It all started when I disappointed a demon lord

""D-demon Lord?!?"" I simply nodded at their surprise

I got kidnapped by the said demon lord for my disappointing performance against her and then forced to train with her until she's satisfied

"That sounds bad"

"Because it is bad"

The first three month is mainly focused on me dodging her attacks
During which I don't get any sleep or foods

The kids looked uncomfortable imagining my storytelling

Then a month is dedicated on counter attacking
During which I only successfully hit her six times
I once again doesn't get any break

"A whole month and you only get to hit her six times?"

"Yup, that's a demon lord for you"

Two months is then focused on my attacks and approach against her

During this time I finally got scarce breaks

"She only let you rest six months in??"

"It's not a rest, it's barely a time for myself to think of another approach, besides these five months is only the beginning of the hell that's about to come"

The remaining six months is my time to spar with her, I fought like my life depends on it, but she never went 100% serious against me

Although the one time she actually did went 100%, my objective at that point is to just survive

"I still find it funny how even though I have basically cheat abilities, her experience completely stomped me" I just smile bitterly

The kids stay in silence, unsure of what to say or do

Atleast not until Chloe spoke up

"How did you survive through all of it?"

I put a hand up to my chin before saying "I'm just built different"

"But not eating for eleven months straight?" Alice asked after her

"My body is capable of photosynthesis, which is why I don't feel hunger or anything like it, although not eating anything for that long did have side effects"
